Throwback Thursday Y&R Poll: Jack, Diane And Andy.

    Thursday, October 17 2013

    (Apega/WENN.com)
    Mixed signals.

In this week's "The Young And The Restless" Throwback Thursday Soaps.com takes readers back to the mid-1980s when Diane Jenkins asked Andy Richards for a divorce…

Chelsea dropped a bomb on Adam and Jack with news that Delia had died. Years ago, Diane (then played by Alex Donnelley) dropped one on Andy then received quite the shocking news herself. Andy dated both Nikki Reed and Jill Foster, who he even wanted to marry, before settling down with Diane. She had been involved with Jack Abbott at the time but realized he'd always be a playboy and would never commit to her.

Diane turned her attention to Andy and took comfort in living a simple life. The two planned a future together and soon married. However, Diane became bored and found herself back in Jack's bed mere months into her marriage. During their affair, Diane jumped the gun and misunderstood the meaning of a gift from Jack. Before she even opened it, believing it was an engagement ring, Diane asked Andy for a divorce. The gift turned out to be Jack's way of saying goodbye to Diane, who left Genoa City after her divorce from Andy.

Do you remember what Jack gave Diane? Vote in our "Y&R" poll below.
