Get the kleenex ready; great lady and fine actress till the end! She led a full life, from her book, and there is a lot to be said for that! RIP soul of Kathrine.

I started watching Y&R the second year it was on TV and I have been a fan since. I loved Jeanne Cooper because she made Mrs. C. come to life on the screen. Some of her best scenes were with Jess and I never really knew who would win each battle. Her frailty in recent months worried me because she had lost so much weight. How fitting her last words on the show were 'good night'. Rest in peace my friend. Your work is done, you fought the good fight and now it is time to sleep with the angels. You will be missed....

Beautiful tribute to a beautiful woman. I smiled and cried and laughed throughout. Unplugged my phone and sat back and re lived MY life along with Jeanne's. A perfect and befitting way to say goodbye and thank you to a truly treasured friend of forty years! She will always be missed, never forgotten!

I am glad there is going to be a tribute to Jeanne Cooper(Mrs. C/Dutchess). I've been a fan of Y&R since the start. I watched the show with my mom. Mrs. C always knew the right thing to say and when to say it. She gave a grace to her character and warmed hearts. She always took the time to her the younger characters on the show and gave them good sage advice. She was elegant and had a style of her own; suiting to her. She kept Jill straight on the soap and sometimes it was with humor. It never mattered to her if the character was rich or poor she treated them with respect and listened. She was a staunch friend and a powerful enemy, when the occasion arose. I loved the acting of a her twin Marge; as it took a special kind of talent to pull this off with such grace and still keep it going. There are many shows that makes Mrs.C special and it would be a very long long list to name them all. But in a nutshell, she was an unforgettable character and will truly be missed by her soap fans around the world. There could be no other actor that I know of who could portray the character of Mrs.C the way she did; it would be lacking her style. She has a large fan base and I think it would be an insult to Jeanne to try and replace such an outstanding actor with another. Rest in peace and good night to you from a very devoted fan of Y&R and you, JEANNE COOPER. Thank you for coming into our home everyday and entertaining us with your grace and style.

i have had a respect for Jeanne Coopers celebrity since the very first time i noticed her-introduced as talented and exceptional. she had always been so admired by people. Introduced as Mrs C. Pretty rich and i mean her ability to capture captivate with her deep voice she knew who she was! ( and she shared and gave of her self as her character and herself. Pretty amazing, pretty amazing... I found a confidence within myself almost the reason for watching altogether. !!!!She has been educational she made sure that everything was clear the life lessons she took growing seriously i am glad she was my friend there to even learn from. My deep sympathy to her friends and family and who will miss her with saddness as I.
