Mrs. C. did leave Ester well off I believe, hope she left Jill nothing, (all this in the soap folks). How will they play her role out? Bold & Beautiful they played Steph role out for real. well we will see.

A tribute sounds wonderful, Jeanne deserves that after sticking with Y&R for so many years. It still doesn't seem real that she's gone.

We will miss the Duchess and she was greatest actress. She could play any any part from a to z. No one will come close top her acting. Rest in Peace.

I have been a Y&R fan since I was a child. I make sure that I TIVO it everyday. I love Jeanne Cooper aka Katherine Chancellor. This role that was created for her was perfect. She played that role until her dying day...literally. I remember when Michael Learned played Mrs. Chancellor back in 2011, when the real Dutchess was sick. NO ONE can replace or play the great Katherine Chancellor, ever! Please do not recast her role. Let her die gracefully on Y&R. She wore the most beautiful outfits and was always dressed to the nine. Her taste was impeccable and her jewerly was immaculate. I loved her spunk and her fiestiness. That's what defined her character. I know her real life family will miss her terribly, as will her Y&R family and fans. I say thank you, Mrs. Chancellor, for all that you were and all that you brought to the role of the Dutchess. So, go with God, and sleep peacefully, now that you're home. I will miss seeing your face but it's comforting knowing that you're in a much better place. Until we meet again, So long, Katherine Chancellor aka Dutchess:-)

I've been watching Young and the Restless every since it has been televising. I watched it with my mom, now my husband and I watch it together. If something 'special' interrupts or prempts it, that doesn't make me happy But Jeanne 'Katherine' as we know her was on it, she was a very class A lady, one I'd like to pattern myself by. Very elegrant and more class in her little finger than most have in their little pinky. She will be very much missed, but she's with her Lord and Savour and guarding angels now. May she rest in Peace.

To the writers you always got it right when it came to Mrs. C.
I watched her back in the 50's playing in westerns. She was good then.
Then you chose her to play classy Mrs. C.
    Miss you.

I am so sadden about Mrs. Cooper. I have not even slept well since hearing the news, I prayed so hard for a recovery
the show will never be the same for me. SHE WAS MY ROLE MODEL. I would have given anything to meet her. I hope her family continues her fashion line and jewel line. I got all my tips for dressing by watching her. She was the best dresser on DAYTIME. I know you are at peace, but I will forever remember u. I cried for days. I cannot wait for the tribute I will have boxes of tissue on hand. Corbin I love your acting too. I am so sorry for your family's loss. I will keep you all in my prayers.

My heart aches as if I have lost a very close friend. I grew up seeing this Lady and loving her acting. I have always thought of her along with Victor and Nicky as the very best and the core of Y&R. i know that nothing lasts forever but it just will not be the same for me without her. Love you Cathy

I have watched this show since the first day it began. Mrs. C has always been a beautiful addition. She will be greatly missed. She obviously loved acting and only death would stop this wonderful and gracious woman. Will miss all she has brought to the show. Rest in peace Jeanne.
