Jeanne Cooper will be miss. I've watch the Young and Restless for 30 years of my life, I am glad that she is not going to be recast. Some stars can be recast and some can't she is one of those that can't be. Mrs Cooper/Mrs C will be miss dearly by her fans. I did know her personally but knowing her on the Y&R I feel close to her. I cried when I heard so I can only imagine what her family and co-worker must feel.I will continue to pray for the strenght of her family. GOOD-BYE Jeanne Cooper/Mrs Chancellor

You know, I have often wondered how Jeanne's health was in real life and always knew the day would come when she would either retire or pass away. The day I watched her go up the steps and turn and say "Good Night" I thought that was her last scene. I figured she was retiring. I grew up with Jeanne and watched her in Westerns and then on Y&R with my grandma and also my mother. My husband also started watching her 34 years ago. We loved "The Dutchess". We will miss her
badly. Our sympathy to her dear children and also to those who worked in Y&R. I know she had some dear friends there.
May you rest in Peace Jeanne and Catherine. To me they are the same person and I would beg CBS to NEVER try to replace her. There is a place in eternity for such a fiesty woman.
She will give eternity her best performances. Love you Jeanne.
