There are not any words that I can say that haven't already been said. But first my heartfelt condolences go out to her family and friends and coworkers on Y&R. She is an end of a great era, from her early days on shows like Wagon Train to LA Law with her son. Her lust for life made her bigger than life and irreplaceable because there will NEVER be another one like her. R.I.P. Mrs Jeanne Cooper aka 'Dutchess' aka Mrs Katherine Chancellor.

As for the Y&R, I hope that they don't try to replace her with someone else because she is irreplaceable. After 40 years with Y&R she deserves to be given the ROYAL send off with her cast members now and those who are not on the show anymore. Let Murphy tell everyone she has gone peacefully. Which is how I hope she did. Let us be able to mourn the right way, she has earned that. My candle is lit for her and the memories I will always have. She was really a grand lady, her family was lucky.

There were so many scenes that I love her in but the ones that stand out is when Jill and Katherine were fighting over who would keep and care for the infant Phillip Chancellor, Jill's son. They were standing at their front door and in the fight I seem to remember the baby falling to the floor. It's been a lot of years but seems that Katherine had grown very attached to him. I think I'm remembering it right.

One very touching scene is when Katherine was very ill and Jill went to the hospital ~ talked to Katherine in a lovingly daughter like way ~ until everyone learned Katherine was going to be OK ~ then they resumed their war. Oh how I loved their wars. I will miss her and I will miss Jill's scenes with her. Two wonderful beautiful characters.

Like so many others that loved Jeanne Cooper, I, too, will miss seeing her dynamic personality on Y&R. I watched it from day one, saw all the changes in plots and personalities and it has remained the only daytime drama that I watch. But I couldn't help but think that much of her real persona came across in her character and I admired her so much. Family and co-workers are in my heart and prayers for she will be missed for a very long time and beyond. God bless you Jeanne. We were fortunate to have you in our world.

For those of us who remember Jeanne in the old westerns ext.and can look back on the first episode of the young and the restless it is like losing a friend. The most difficult thing in this life to endure is death of a loved one. I know she is resting in deaths sleep and hope when the trumpet sounds and our great saviour and king JESUS will call her name..may the HOLY spirit be with her family at this time comfort them and give them joy..

I absolutely LOVED this interview. Spoken like a "True Duchess"

We "your Soap family and friends" will truly miss you. To the family of Ms. Jeanne Cooper, you have the most sincere sympathy of our hearts and just know that, she had a different commanding role to play so this is why God called her up to Heaven's stage.

    Be Blessed

Never thought I could be so sad over a TV actor, but she is like family. Watched her from the first time she was on Y&R. Jeanne (Mrs. C.) you will be so missed. RIP sweet, beautiful lady.
