    Ex-Y&R's Maria Arena Bell Honored At Women's Image Network Awards.

    Former "The Young and the Restless" scribe, Maria Arena Bell, was honored with a Humanitarian Award at the Women's Image Network (WIN) Awards on Wednesday December 12 for her dedication and long-standing contributions to the arts and art education. On hand to see Bell accept the honor at Paramount Studios were Lee Phillip Bell, Lauralee Bell (Christine), Jeanne Cooper (Katherine), Eric Braeden (Victor), Genie Francis (ex-Genevieve), Patty Weaver (ex-Gina), and more. "Friends" alum, Lisa Kudrow (ex-Phoebe) presented the award to Bell.

    Of her award, Bell said, "I am so honored that WIN, an organization that promotes positive images of women and girls in the media and recognizes female writers, producers and directors chose to honor me with their Humanitarian Award. WIN wanted to recognize my work in the arts and arts education through organizations like PS Arts, MOCA and Americans for the Arts as well as my recent appointment by Mayor Villaraigosa as a cultural affairs commissioner for the city of Los Angeles. I thank Phyllis Stuart for her leadership at WIN." congratulates Bell on the honor.
