Throwback Thursday Y&R Poll: Attempted Wedding Sabotage.

    Thursday, December 20 2012

    (Nikki Nelson/WENN.com)
    Out for revenge.

In this week's Throwback Thursday Soaps.com takes readers back to 1984 when Victor Newman and Nikki Reed planned to marry…

Victor and Nikki are currently preparing to wed again but almost didn't the first time around. One of Victor's lovers had found out that he planned to marry Nikki in a wedding like no other. This woman, having been institutionalized, planned her escape and made her way to Genoa City.

Arriving at Gina's Restaurant the woman used bodily force to obtain a disguise and joined the catering crew at the wedding. Though she wasn't able to stop the nuptials, she did manage to sneak into Nikki's room with plans to stab the bride. However, Nikki's sister Casey prevented that from happening, so the woman hid in a truck that was set to accompany Victor and Nikki on their honeymoon. The couple changed plans and decided not to go away after all. When Victor heard about the escape, he tracked down the woman and returned her to the institution.

Do you remember who tried to sabotage the wedding? Vote in our poll…
