The Young And The Restless Snap Poll: Case Dismissed.

    Friday, October 12 2012

    Phyllis. (CBS)
    That's it?

It appears that the new judge feels the case against Phyllis isn't worth hearing and has dismissed it altogether. Soaps.com wants to know what you think about this development.

Let us know where you stand by voting in the snap poll below. As always, feel free to add your own answer or elaborate using the comment section provided.

Today' was a dark day in Genoa City. The fact that Phyllis can get away with (attempted) murder is the most blatant display of "cast favouritism" that I have witnessed (outside that of the usual Victor favouritism). I am so disgusted that I am glad there is a weekend in between episodes as I need two days to come to grips with this spalling turn
of events. If this is a sign of what the new regime is to bring, it makes me wonder why they even bothered replacing MAB.

I love the judges decision.all christine wants is revenge.

Ronan is behind this. He should be put in jail, too.
Why should Christine forget about the hit and run?
    Who would?

I am so happy for Phyllis, that judge was great especially when he said to Christine "I can't wait to find out who in the hell you are". Great statement, I have waited for months for someone to put her in her place. She is a b...t with a capital B. Get over it vicsze, Phyllis has been treated terrible by her husband and her children. Good luck Phyllis, I hope things go better for you.

Disappointed is the only thing I can say for today's show. Must be the new writer for Y & R, hope he goes away. Bring back who ever left, course that may not help either. GEE ruined my whole weekend. Wonder, have the writers ever been in a court room before? Bye all!!!

I will worry all weekend about Chelsea, so scared she will lose her baby. Please, please writers don't let that happen. Chelsea needs that baby, she did the right thing by letting Billy have his son so she is a good person, let her have this baby. All of the people that watch this show wants this badly.
Chelsea and Adam are the only bright thing on the show.

Very disappointing for those of us who think that a hit and run is a crime no matter how long ago it happened. Hopefully Phyllis will pay in some other way. Christine was never my favourite but I can put up with her for a little longer if she can get some satisfaction from this travesty.

If this happened yesterday I would say what a shame, but it happened 20 years+ ago. There are statutes for a reason.

I posted once but I forgot to add this...all this junk also makes everyone hate the character..do they realize that? And I will point out AGAIN to look at the poll and see how many how VERY MANY are upset than NOT! So if you can make just about anyone on the soap redeemed no matter what they do and I've seen it done to all on the soap EXCEPT for PHYLLIS....if they can be tolerable for a while at least why not make her for a while????? I saw another poster mention the fact that this just makes fans hate the character more.....well before I do that I just won't watch. I'm done.

I was delighted with the outcome! This is a case that would have never been placed on the court dockets in real life in the first place--there was no evidence and what evidence they had would have been held as inadmissable due to the chain of evidence rule.

This S/L was drug out and sucked from the very beginning and way too unrealistic to have went as far as it did.

Moreover, I hate the "bug". Always have, always will. Her chirp, chirp, chirp vendetta against Phyllis has gotten way to old and to drag it out, yet again, with a civil suit just to keep her on the show, is ridiculous. If I never see her again, it will be too soon. I think I would rather have Diane back as to see the "bug" after Phyllis anymore.
