    Rose DeVille steals Nina's newborn.

In "The Young And The Restless" history, 1986, Rose DeVille (played by the late Darlene Conley) kidnapped Nina Webster's newborn son…

Nina Webster didn't have anyone to look up to in life, having been raised in Detroit by her mother, a former prostitute, with no knowledge of who Nina's father was. She hooked up with a boy from juvie named Jimmy, became pregnant at sixteen and ran away.

Nina's first encounter with Christine Blair was when 'Cricket' came across Nina on a park bench. The girls became fast friends and have remained very close to this day. Back then, with nowhere to live, Nina moved into a boarding house ran by Rose DeVille, who supposedly helped unwed mothers. Little did anyone know, Rose had been running a black-market baby ring and planned to use Nina's unborn child as her next score.

Though Nina agreed to give her child up for adoption, she changed her mind just before her baby was born. Rose, out for herself, stole Nina's newborn son and left her helpless. Nina turned to Cricket for help. They even found Rose and witnessed a couple leaving with the baby but were kidnapped before Nina's child could be saved. There were many attempts to locate Nina's boy throughout the years but even Genoa City's local P.I. Paul Williams couldn't track him down.

In 2010 Paul got a lead and was able to tell Nina that her son's name was Aiden Lansing, who had experienced a good upbringing. Soon after, it was revealed that Ronan Malloy was in fact Aiden Lansing, Nina's long lost son.
