    New role.

    Actor Graham Shiels ("General Hospital," "Leverage," "CSI," "NCIS") has booked a role on "The Young and the Restless" according to Soap Opera Network. Although the actor confirmed the role on Twitter, no character name has been revealed. Shiels will first be seen on Monday September 10, and will reportedly interact with Eric Braeden's Victor Newman and Genie Francis's Genevieve Atkinson.

    So tired of the new characters coming on board and much loved veteran characters are underdeveloped and get nothing.
    We bring on new characters then as quickly as they come they are gone. Big eye roll.

    SLEUTH, I agree! The character of Genevieve Atkinson is about as interesting and necessary as a "blister on your butt." Mothers like this character give parenting a fould name. WHY CONTINUE THIS MESS?

    Totally disagree,GenV is a wonderful character and has many fans that watch the show to see her.She has great chemistry with everyone she's in a scene with. Her son and daughter inlaw,her childhood friend Tucker and her soon to return ex husband Colin and nemisis Jill. Looking forward to the new actor coming on and some great storylines ahead. One happy camper:)
