The Daytime Emmy Award winning actress just completed work on "Donna on Demand", a comedy/thriller which her son, Corbin Bernsen, wrote, directed, produced, and co-starred in!
The movie also features Jeanne's fellow Y&R actor, Adrienne Frantz (Amber Moore), as the star of the movie, Donna! In a recent interview, Adrienne told Soaps.com, "'Donna on Demand' was a lot of fun and a great experience! Jeanne and I have a special chemistry and I always love working with her. Corbin is an amazing actor and it was really fun being on set with him. It was really fun working on 'Donna on Demand' because I got to play the role of a psychopath, which is very different from what I normally do. I got to be out of my element and really explore as an actress. It was awesome!"
Jeanne's role in the film is that of Virginia Hart, a former porn star who is now running a computer porn business!
An interesting tidbit - one of the roles in this movie was traded for a house to complete the Red Paperclip Project . The Town of Kipling, Saskatchewan bartered for the role. According to the project site, Kipling set up "American Idol style" auditions for the role in a film to be shot by Public Media Works. The auditions were held over the Labor Day long weekend. Nolan Hubbard is the lucky guy who got the role.
In other Jeanne news, the Y&R is set to bring back her dual role of Marge Cotroke later this fall. It's been eighteen years since Marge first appeared as a waitress in a diner!
Soaps.com can't wait to see Jeanne's new film, and is eagerly awaiting the return of Marge! It's such a joy to watch Jeanne in any role!
