Max Page (Children's Hospital)

Max Page's doctors have told the media that he came through his two-hour surgery today without incident. Page had his pulmonary valve replaced, and was recovering in the cardiac intensive care unit. The valve will last approximately 15 years, and will not require another invasive surgery to replace it. Page is expected to be released in about five days, and will have a six to eight week recovery period.

Young actor, Max Page, who has a recurring role as Reed Hellstrom on "The Young and the Restless" is slated to undergo another heart surgery in Los Angeles on June 14. Page, who was born with a congenital heart defect, is the Junior Ambassador of the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles.
