Better late than never.... Just now, read about and realize the mistake made by ? at the Y&R over the dismissal of Eileen Davidson portraying, Ashley Abbott...
As someone else posted back in May, keeping original characters on the show
is integral to the integrity of the production team and the loyalty of the original fans... As far as storylines go... seeing Tucker and Ashley living at the Chancellor estate in the not too distant future would be a welcome and reasonable expectation... there is so much you can do with that situation...
I don't know all the drama behind this daytime drama...but you've lost Eileen before and you brought her back... Let's do it again!

With the dismissal of Bell(as a writer) they will bring back this important part of the Y & R team of stars. However, this just goes to prove the ole saying "what goes around, comes around." When we lost Rowell -the woman that played Neil's wife, it seems no-one on the show gave a damn. That was the start of the shows down-turn. Many of the old fans are probably like me,we can take it or leave it.

you all are gone to far with sharon. she has slept with everyone on the show. now you got her marrying her father in law. .this is crazy you all are showing no morales and its getting boring with her . she needs to go. Insteda of takinf ashley off sharon should have been the one gone. please bring ashley back.

Here's my two cents, big mistake to get rid of main character actors/actresses that have been on the show forever like Eileen Davidson, SHE IS ASHLEY. Perhaps if they don't plan to have the character Ashley on the show very much it wont be so upsetting, but to have someone else play her character won't be the same and will be irritating to watch. If enough main characters get replaced you will lose your loyal fans. I am a 22 year long fan, I stopped watching for a few years back when Sharon 1st kissed victor as I found it very disturbing as I find their relationship now very disturbing and icky. My favorite thing about this show is the abbot family & when they bring back old characters for a visit like Cricket, Nina, Traci, and Danny and that it is the same actors/actresses playing those characters. If Ashley's character comes back from New York it better be Eileen Davidson or many fans will be very upset!

I have an idea...why don't you fire some of your crappy writers and let the actors do their jobs? People have been watching some of these shows for YEARS! You keep using the same old plot lines!
