Just got back from vacation to read this unbelievable news that Eileen Davidson has been let go? Writers, are you crazy? She is one of the most important characters on the show. Who will Jack, Billy, and Abby confide in now?

It took me a few days to watch all the recorded shows I missed while I was away but now I'm not sure that I'll even bother to record any more shows. I'm really mad about you letting Eileen go like this.

Eileen, please know that you have loyal fans and that we will watch you on your new shows. Good luck and best wishes to you!

Can not believe you are letting Ashley go but keep Tucker,Genevie,and that trashy Sharon stay on,let along hiring the new girl as Heather(who couldn't act on atwt!SHARON will sleep with anyone,Victor watch out for your dog cause he will be Sharons next victom!Why on earth would you keep Daisy,Sofia,Harmony,and bring that Landon woman as Heather on the show,she couldn!t even keep her job on ATWT!I am positive the people on the set feels the studio shake because Mr.Bell is rolling in his grave because these writters are the worst ever,keep doing what you are doing and this show will close down by the end of the year!Victor,Nicki,Catherine keep you eyes open you may be next,which means I WILL STOP WATCHING!!!PLEEEEEASE GET NEW WRITERS BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!!!!GOOD LUCK EILEEN.Used to be a big fan of the show,Linda Haynes

I agree,this show is just crazy,they keep bring on new people because they probably do not pay them as much as the older better qualified actors!i=It is all about money.but these writters will lose because they do not know how to write a good story the way that Mr Bell Sr,wrote!Keep writting the way you do now and this show will be off the air at years end!Why would you keep people like Genive,Harmony,Sofia,and Sharon,makes you wonder what kind of job they are doing behind the curtains with these so called writers(use your immagination!!!)Why would you let Ashley go and even keep this fruitcake Daisy on?

How many times are they going to keep doing this? Eileen Davidson is going to one day say that she's had enough and they will have to recast and the character will change....it happens all the time.
Too bad for Y&R but great for Days if they bring back Kristen Blake/Susan Banks...

I'm one of those people who watch this show every day. I hope that the writers know what they are doing, because I love this show so much. Please be careful and if this is what is needed to make the show better, so be it. Good luck to you Eileen and all the success of perhaps another show.

I just read this. I'm ready to fall over. ASHLEY HAS BEEN ON FOREVER . How can they do this??????? Have they gone crazy. This show is going down the tubes big time. I'm sick over it.

Really?! "Ashley Abbott" is a long time character and keeping these characters on the show is what keeps viewers watching.
It's obvious the writers don't care about the viewers. Why bring in all the new wanna-be actors that contribute nothing to the show. It is apparent that they have no respect for those that have watched this show since its inception. Cancellation will follow if these storylines and loss of seasoned vet actors prevails. This show is being written into the ground!

Another great actress bites the dust! MAB, what is wrong with you all at Y&R? Why don't you want the seasoned actors to remain on this show?

Yet you continue to hire young actors with ridiculous story lines.

This show has been slowly going down the tubes because of your inept writing.

YOU are destroying Bill Bell Sr.'s show. This show used to be a classic. Now it has become ridiculous and at this rate the next soap to be axed.

Eileen Davidson is a veteran actress. I loved on on Days of Our Lives.I can't forget her story line with John and Marlena. May be young and the restless should watch her archives on days of our lives.I was actually disappointed when she left days of our lives.

I'm not very happy about her leaving. She was so great on days of our lives, I still call her Kristen; Eileen has alot of potential,If only they knew.
