I don't like this, why does these soaps let go of good actors?
I think they should have a vote from the fans, before they decide this.

dawlinb You are right, Sharon and Victor makes me sick too. Young and The Restless needs to shape up, and quit getting rid of the good people.

Well this is it Goodbye Y&R I have watched you from the very first day, but I can no longer watch what was once a Great Soap slowly die, Thank You Mr. Bill Bell for all the great years Rest In Peace glad you cannot see what they have done to your soap!!

A great actress and a real lady. Sometimes you have to wonder what the writers are thinking. Good Luck and you will be missed.

This is just plain crazy to let Eileen go.Your writers maybe need to be the ones going. There storylines are just plain going over the top.The Sharon and Victor thing is so far out there that it just plain makes me sick and I would be interested in knowing what the actors think.I think that there has been so may missed chances on just making these characters explode but they usually fizzel out the stories.I have watched the show since 1977 and think the writers were better years ago.Hate to see the show die but get rid of all the actors we love and people will most likly just lose interest.

This is so sad I love Ashley why don't they get rid of Sharon instead? all she ( Sharon)does is sleep around she has the morals of an alley cat. Ashley is one of the veterans she should be valued more. I am a very disappointed fan.

Me too , let the fans vote on who goes I am so sick of the Victor/Sharon story line it is sickening.I am no longer a fan will not be watching anymore especially since they are letting ashley go and giving us these fluff for storylines

Well Eileen should not feel bad. Y&R is losing it's hot flavor. Now Sharon is playing a leading role in everything poor actress boring. Cassie has been dead like for ever but to keep dead Sharon alive they hook her up with the past of Cassie. This character has sleep with everybody on the set now Victor. Eileen your character could had been build up more. And that sorrowful music Y&R are geeting rid of some really good people. Who ever is burning the ears of the directors and producers they are listening to the wrong songbirds. Really Sharon with her father-in-law if Victor want a young woman that bad you should had hooked him up with somebody else.

I was such a good fan of Y&R but lately I find it hard to watch. Sharon and Victor make me sick, the new Kyle is pathetic. We hardly see Adam any more. Phyllis is a loose cannon. I can't believe they would put her and Nick back together. I can't even comment on Harmony. So they let a talented beautiful actress like Eileen Davidon go and lose a great character in Ashley Abbot. Bring in some more crap! Soon the show will be cancelled because no one will be watching!
