    Updated August 27:

In a recent interview with TV Guide, executive producer, Jill Farren Phelps, stated that she had spoken with Jess Walton regarding a return, and that she had agreed to come back on a part-time basis. Phelps plans to write a great storyline involving Jill Foster Abbott Fenmore, but no return date or further details were provided.

    Updated April 3:

Jess posted a message to her fans on her Facebook page with regard to her time off: "Hey Everybody! I don't know how many of you have heard, but tomorrow (Tuesday) is my last day of taping for about 6 months! I am very excited to have the time off, as I have been working on Daytime TV for about 29 years straight! I wanted to be there for my son Cole and his lovely Ashley, for the birth of their son, and the precious time that follows. Also, my husband John and I want to put our new home in order for the country life we have planned up in Oregon. Maria Bell was very understanding of all this, and kindly gave me the time I need!"

I'm gonna take a leave of absence with her. I pray when I tune back in I see Jill in a story with Kay , with a love interest and in her own life because that is Y&R and this show hasn't been Y&R that in a very long time.

Ah...Jill, what a nice thing for you to do!
However, you will be greatly missed. Hope you cut your leave of absence shorter than 6 months...wonder if the writer's will have her go abroad for her job?
Anyone know how it will be explained?

Jess will get to spend precocious time with her family which is great. She was so underutilized on the show which is a shame considering all her years on the show. I am a huge Jill fan and feel that all the airtime given GF should have been JW's but that just me. I can't wait for her return.

Who is "Anna" that Neil is referring too? I am lost.

Didn't know that Jeffrey had a twin...lost again, no reference was made to that this time around, was it?

BON story line is so boring...btw, why are Neil and Sofia together...they go together like peanut butter and sardines!
