They should have brought MW in as Diane's much younger sister. She is adorable and it is sad to see her go. Kill Diane off & bring back MW as the younger sister to help with Kyle. She could seek revenge b/c of the death and horrible treatment of her sister!

The only time Diane is good is when she is with Nick. Have she and Nick marry and move out of state. Nick has not been worth watching for the past 5 months.

I like having her around! She's sneaky, trampy, and shows signs of being unstable. I like that she's smooth in front of people, but the minute they walk away that calm veneer goes right out the window! Too bad they're letting her go- I wanted to see what trouble her and Adam could get into!

Good luck to Maura West. I think she is a great actress. Not her fault IMO, she was to young to be cast in the role she was playing. Diane Jenkins should have been around Victor/Nikki's age, and Kyle should have been Abby's age. Poor casting and writing IMO.

I liked her acting and the character Diane added much needed interest to some boring, slow storylines. What was she...used and tossed aside? I think the writers owe it to her to have a GOOD departure, perhaps a great job offer overseas for her and Kyle? She doesn't deserve to be killed off or ran off. I loved her challenges to Victor; one of the few who could stand up to him and get in his face when needed!
I hoped her and Nick would get together again. Good luck to this talented and beautiful lady!

Just shows that again Y & R has no idea what they are doing. She is an amazing actress and I think it is absolutely crazy. They have so messed up storylines and now the actors/actresses are paying the price. Good luck to her, the problem is there isn't many soaps left for her to go to. Sad day. Y&R is going to be cancelled soon because it is getting to be terrible. Viewership will be down for sure.

Have Diane character killed (really killed) off or lucrative job offer out of town BUT leave Kyle with Jack. We need more regular full blood Abbots back on the show.

I like actress MW, but not like her in this role. I agree she needed to be a younger character to be better matched with Nick and Adam. I wish MW the best!

Diane is great! Don't let her go. I love those eyes and seeing the wheels turning in her head as she works on next sceam. This idea of "dieing" and coming back is getting too old. I was thrilled to see Cane wasn't dead, then to find out it was his brother. I actually shut off TV. How many more times are you going to do this - just like watching re-runs ...same thing over and over!!

Agree with Chicky2 - you have so many messed up storylines your are taking a big chance on being cancelled.

So let's keep the spice and suspence, but be a bit more realistic; stop with all the same old stuff or you won't have to worry about specific casting as there won't be any Y&R to watch! Viewers are getting bored fast.
