    Victoria Mallory (Leslie, CBS)
Soaps.com writers are also fans of the shows. Since we miss those ex-cast members on our soaps, we figure the fans must miss them, too! To find out the scoop on what your favorite ex-Y&R actor has been up to, read on!

Janice e-mailed us recently, asking us what ever happened to the Brooks family and where the actors are that portrayed these characters. Well Janice, we did a little research for you and hope you'll find the answers to your questions below!

Robert Colbert, the dashing newspaper magnate who originated and played the role of Stuart Brooks from 1973 to 1983. After leaving his mark on the show, he guest starred in numerous primetime episodes such as “Knight Rider”, “Simon & Simon”, “In The Heat of the Night”, “Frasier” and was last seen on “Baywatch” in 1995. Even prior to joining Y&R, he had a long and illustrious career on primetime TV! He is happily retired and lives in Long Beach, California.

    Trish Stewart (Chris, CBS)
Victoria Mallory, the beautiful but unstable pianist played the daughter of Stuart Brooks, Leslie Brooks from 1977 – 1984. Since leaving the show, interestingly enough, she had a short stint on the soap “Santa Barbara”! She then went on to do guest spots for TV such as “Promised Land”, “The Grudge”, “Touched by an Angel”, “Where The Heart Is” and was last seen on “Everwood” in 2005. She is presently living in Virginia.

You may also remember Trish Stewart, an attractive reporter also played the daughter of Stuart Brooks, Chris Brooks from 1973 – 1978, returning in 1984. Since leaving the show, Trish guest starred on many episodes of Salvage 1 and also guest starred on a variety of other primetime shows including “Barnaby Jones”, “Trapper John M.D.”, “The Love Boat”, “Fantasy Island”, with her last known acting appearance being on Y&R in 1984! She resides in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Pamela Peters Solow, was a college student and was the third daughter of Stuart Brooks, Peggy Brooks in 1973 to 1974. She had a guest starring role in “The Man From Atlantis” which starred handsome Patrick Duffy in 1977! Currently she is residing in New York.

Thanks for walking down memory lane with me, Janice. Soaps.com is asked about the Brooks family all the time and it's good to be able to deliver this information! We invite you to send in your questions through the contact us page! Stay tuned for the next installment…

Thank you for the updates on past actors that was great I have been watching the show for a long time and I had forgotten about that family that use to be on there I love Leslie way back then so it was great getting the update thank you for taking the time to answer the questions and listening to the viewers. What happened to Nikki's sister Dr. Casey??? Nikki has not talked about her in a long time you would think she would want her sister in GC since she is a dr???? Now I can't remember was she a medical dr or a shrink?? My memory just left me.

What about Laurie Brooks? Why didn't you mention her?

Can we bring them back? Can we bring the writers back who wrote then... Goodness knows Y&R needs a serious face-lift!

What about Laurie? She was one of my favorites! And the HUNK William Gray Espy who played Snapper, what is he doing now? I don't remember the guy who played Greg Foster I think it could have been Greg Houghton, anyway he was a real cutie!!! I loved these characters there what kept me watching the show for so long! I wish there was some way they could be included in the story line every once in awhile. But anyway, Thanks for the News!

I would like an update on Brock. Mrs. Chancellor's son. Did he die or did he go away on yet another crusade for humanity.

Victoria Mallory wasn't the original Leslie. She replaced Janice Lynde, who originated the role. Where is she now? And who played the man she loved ... I can't remember his name. I think Laurie went after him. And didn't Tom Selleck get his start on this show?
