I know nothing about her, so I'm just going by the photo. She needs to tone down that brassy blond hair.

MAURA WEST WAS MY FAVORITE ON ATWT! CARLY (MAURA) AND JACK WERE SO AWESOME TOGETHER ON ATWT..SHE IS A WONDERFUL ACTRESS! I AM DEVOTED DAILY TO ATWT...BUT SINCE IT IS COMING TO A SAD END ... WHO KNOWS...MAYBE MAURA WILL BE THE ONE THAT PULLS ME BACK TO THE Y&R!!! I WILL DEFINANTLY START TUNING IN ON OCTOBER 8! JUST LOVE HER! SUPER PUMPED ABOUT HER GETTING A ROLE ON ANOTHER SOAP!

Should have brought her in as a new character. The old Diane should not have been recast.

I am going to reserve my comment until I see how well she does. I have always been a fan of Maura West. She is a wonderful actress. When you get use to seeing them on a soap for so long and then they switch to another soap, its hard to envision them as the new person. I wish her the best. Hopefully, she will set Jack on his toes. Another Jack!!!!! I can't wait to see her and Phyllis go toe to toe. They both are such great actresses and throw alittle Jack up in the mix and you have a great combo....

What a bad move for Jack. I have never liked Carly, and it's never going to change. Whats going to happen with Jack and his son?

I am very upset that Maura will be playing Dianne. I believe she will do a good job, because she is one of day times best actresses. However, I would rather see her as a new character and not Dianne.
As for the comment she should stay where she's at.... she can't. ATWT no longer exists due to some twisted idea of TPTB.
I guarantee whatever show Maura West is on, she is going to be worth watching, and I will also guarantee I will not be watching a game show in place of ATWT. So much for TPTB. They probably lost a lot of people who watched tv in that time slot.

Anyone who did not like "Carly" on ATWT.... This is not about her, but the actress Maura West, who can act with the best of them. She can make you laugh, cry, irate, you name it, and she can do it. It is going to be the writers who make or break the character, not Maura West. Can't say enough good things about her, and her co stars couldn't either.

so it won't be long til Jack Snyder shows up.. that could work..but her at diane not good..barbara ryan would be great as diane if recasting from ATWT..just my opinion..
