Cane, Devon, and Lily discuss Delia's death, Michael is sentenced, and Jack and Jill put an idea in motion.
At On The Boulevard, Jack and Jill discuss Billy turning to alcohol to cope. Jill recalls the time when she thought Phillip had died. They talk about what they might be able to do to help Billy.
Paul runs into Christine at the station. They discuss Michael’s sentencing hearing being soon. Paul says Carmine is guilty of the same crimes Michael committed. Christine says Michael changed, she doesn’t believe Carmine would have.
In the Chancellor living room, Chloe becomes frantic about Delia’s missing scarf. "It was attached to her hat." Kevin promises they’ll find it.
At the penthouse, Adam burns the scarf in the fireplace. Victor arrives with an envelope – it’s stock options in Newman/Chancellor for Connor. Victor notices the smell of smoke. Adam says it will be fixed. Adam warns him not to try to see Connor or buy his love. He rips up the stock papers. Adam tells Victor he’s not a part of his life or his son’s. Victor reminds him he betrayed him with Jack. They bicker about the past and what it means to be a father. Adam says he is breaking the cycle – he will never treat his son the way he treats him. Victor leaves, telling him to fix his fireplace before someone gets killed.
In the room for the hearing, Lauren worries to Michael about what is going to happen. She’s glad Fen is still in rehab. Paul, Lauren, and the judge arrive and Michael gives a statement about what led to Carmine’s shooting. Christine says she thinks Michael behaved appropriately and recommends he get the lightest sentence the law allows. The judge asks if Michael feels any remorse about killing Carmine Basco. He doesn’t regret protecting his family. The judge takes a recess to decide. Christine isn’t sure if he’ll take her recommendation. Paul warns his previous record will be taken into account. When the judge returns he says he believes Mr. Baldwin feared for his wife, but he has no choice but to give him 10 years. Lauren begins to freak out. Fenmore bursts in and says his father didn’t kill Carmine. "I did!"
At the park, Devon, Cane, and Lily discuss Delia’s death. Lily recalls when they went through the leukemia. Cane promises Lily they’ll keep their kids safe. Cane says he has to go pay his condolences to Jill. Devon wants to go with him. Lily and the twins step away. Cane tells Devon he appreciates a generous gesture he made to the twins but it's a one-time deal; he doesn’t want to spoil them. After, Lily cuddles the kids on the park bench.
At the station, Billy gets angry with Alex who tries to convince him to let them do their jobs. Billy isn’t satisfied with their progress and doesn’t believe they have leads. Alex says he’ll break it down for him like he did for Kevin. Billy hollers that Kevin isn’t her father as Kevin and Chloe arrive. Chloe says Kevin would never have left her alone. Kevin says they have to stop blaming each other. Chloe tells Billy she knows the driver is responsible, not him, so she’ll ease up on him. Billy apologizes to Kevin. Chloe and Kevin say they came because Delia’s scarf was missing. Alex says no scarf was listed from the crime scene. Billy didn’t see it either. Alex says he’ll ask the EMT. Billy says he’s going to find the guy who killed his daughter while the police order lunch. Alex warns he’ll compromise the investigation. Kevin understands how he feels. So does Alex; he talks about wanting to kill a gang member who killed a little girl in Harlem, but he put him away instead.
Cane embraces Jill at the Chancellor mansion and Devon asks about Esther. Jill says she won’t come out of her room yet. Cane and Jill agree to later discuss Victor inheriting Chancellor. Jack appears and tells Jill he has an idea to help find the hit-and-run driver.
At Boulevard, Billy pours a drink and turns on the TV. Jack and Jill are on talking about the hit-and-run and making an appeal for help – they offer a $100,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
Adam is cleaning his penthouse fireplace when he gets a text about the Abbott press conference.
Alex tells Chloe and Kevin about the press conference and they watch from the station.
At the Chancellor mansion, Cane and Devon watch Jill become increasingly upset as she speaks to the press about Delia. Devon interrupts to say he will put up a million dollars.
At the station, the phones start ringing.
