LOOK WHAT I FOUND ON THE MESSAGE BOARD:

Also, UNCENSORED has learned the reason why Y&R hacks Jill Farren Phelps and Josh Griffith are so concerned about their jobs — and my blunt critiques. Their contract cycle is soon expiring and there is talk of replacing ‘em. Stay tuned….

They also stated that Kay Alden was being let go from B&B!

I don't post often, but after weeks of reading this non-sense, I had to take the time to post today. I don't know what is going on with the writers of the CBS Soaps but I am so sure that the great writers of the past are trying to dig themselves out of their graves so they can come back and save their legacy. I have watched Y & R since I was a toddler and have watched B & B since conception. I remember the anticipation of waiting for the soap hours to start. I remember not wanting to go to school because if I did, I would miss what happened next. I remember the break rooms of different jobs that I held being almost filled to capacity with both men and women; using their lunch period to catch up on CBS soaps. I remember hating characters, but loving their story line and understanding the need for them to be a part of the script. But those days are no more, and today I must say that I am done. These story lines are not only ridiculous, they are boring and lack the least bit of creativity...plain and simple. Because we are dedicated fans, we show up each day, waiting with our fingers crossed, hoping that today will be the day that some good writing will return. And each day, we are let down. If this is the new age of soaps, then I totally understand why most are no longer even on television.

WELL SAID, Peachykeen! I agee with you 100%! There is absolutely NO cosistency in the writing...one day there will be an amazing scene and the next GARBAGE...and that is for the SAME characters!!!!! There is NO ONE to root for anymore; everyone on the show is in some kind of turmoil! It's becoming a waste of a good hour to continue watching! SO SAD!!!

I bet Monday's show has Sharon in a nurse uniform holding a pillow in Old Red's room. That will scare Phyllis and finish the job!! LOL

    July 23,2013 from the updates.

" At home, Lily and Cane drink to making up and not letting anyone get in the way of their happiness. They kiss and head to the bedroom but the kids wake up. While Cane deals with the twins, Lily flashes to when she was expecting. Cane returns, but the kids call again. "

No need for a double take, TNIIC screwed up. Mac had the twins for Lily since Lily is missing a oven.

Aqua, after watching the flashback, it is obvious that Lily was not pregnant, they were just talking about being excited for the arrival of the twins and getting all the "goodies" they received taken care of, so they really were "expecting" them.

I am in total agreeance with those complaining about the writing. I certainly don't think they thought about what they are doing to some of the main characters. I mean really, you can only break the law so many times and get away with it. Now we have Sharon you unintentionally caused Phyllis to fall down the stairs and she won't be held accountable. I do feel for Phyllis. If the writers are planning on killing her character off the show, then at least allow her to die knowing that the truth about Summer's paternity is revealed. Then she would be able to rest in peace. Personally I think letting Phyllis leave the show is a great mistake. If she is leaving because of personal issues, then don't kill off the character. I love Adam and he should know that he is an expectant father. I like the way he has changed although the other day with Nick was kind of like the old Adam.

    Have a Great Weekend Everyone!!!

Fiddlers Daughter, yep that's what Nick said, "if I had to do it all again I would, I don't regret it, I wouldn't change a thing"

I was like really? The common factor being all those I's, I think he caught Sharons bi polariasm.

Well we can assume that Neil slept with Rose and Cane's new asst. is Rose/Neil daughter (microwave child)...lol

And we all know that Phylis is going to pass away before telling the truth about Sharon.......I am mad that she's leaving!!!!

Lauren is so gullible, she should have left when she was standing at the open door.....UGH!!!

I like Kevin when he is using his evil and devious capabilities for the good but if I am not mistaking I thought putting the prison on lockdown meant all the prisoners were lock in the cell and could not get out but in this case it meant that only Michael could escape during lockdown I suppose.
Maybe Kevin should just disabled Michael's cell at least that would have made more sense.

...Glovers, Michael wasn't in a cell. He has been allowed to roam around the station with no supervision since he got there and has unlimited visitors and visitation times....just like they did with Victor. Michael was in an adjourning room and Kevin showed him a door that was NEVER locked, that is how he got out of there.
