At Jill's place, Colin and Jill discuss their insurance fraud. Colin says they can put the money into a good cause - Fenmore's Boutique. Jill plans on telling Lauren that they are a package deal. She tucks Katherine's necklace back in the safe before heading to the Club.
In the dining room of the Club, Cane catches up with Hilary. He wonders if she's thought about their conversation. Devon overhears as she explains she doesn't want to hurt her husband and knows what she has to do. Nearby in the foyer, Lauren updates Neil on the plan for the new Fenmore's. Neil thinks it sounds great. She congratulates him on his wedding. He explains that Hilary made a 180 degree turn and they fell in love. He shares that Lily thinks Hilary will hurt him. Jill arrives and joins their conversation. She speaks her mind about Hilary and asks Neil if he's crazy. Neil takes a call and Jill gives Lauren the news she will fund the new boutique. Lauren knows what Katherine's necklace meant to her and thinks she'd love that Jill was investing in family. Jill's not sure as it comes with a condition. Colin peeks over Jill’s shoulder and Lauren is taken aback. They tell her Colin is part of the plan. Lauren stresses it’s a family business and reminds Jill of his criminal past. She tells them to keep the cash. Jill keeps pushing Lauren to accept her husband. Meanwhile, Neil joins Hilary and Cane in the dining room. Devon wanders over. There’s an awkward moment before Hilary announces they are due for a change. No more business… It’s time to play ball. She pulls out tickets and heads out to the game with Neil. Cane confesses to Devon that he heard Hilary and him in the laundry room. He tells Devon he needs to get a handle on it. Soon, Lauren catches Cane to ask if he’d allow Colin to invest in his business. He says maybe. Devon pipes in and says being family is no excuse for stupidity. Lauren gives in and welcomes Colin to their very legitimate family business.
Jill and Colin are at her place toasting to her plan. He's had his doubts about their scam and reminds her that she can never wear her necklace in public again. They contemplate what to do with their money. Esther interrupts and accuses them of being up to something. Lauren wander in and notices Jill isn't wearing her necklace. Jill claims it was stolen. Esther wades in but Colin insists this doesn't concern her. Jill makes a speech about Katherine. Esther is so moved she cries and leaves. Lauren looks at them cockeyed and asks about the insurance. They sit down and talk business. Lauren wants to open another boutique in a hotel. Sounds great to Colin. The redhead needs cash. Colin suggests they use the insurance settlement but Jill needs to think that over. Once Lauren leaves, Colin tells Jill they can be partners. She thinks they better have some ground rules.
