RONAN MALLOY'S HISTORY
Ronan Malloy was introduced as a detective who the D.A. chose to be Chance's partner. He was helping to guard Heather. Ronan alluded to having a mother in Genoa City and seemed to have a fondness for Nina Webster. Ronan was undercover on Chance's drug case, and after Chloe figured out his true identity and told Chance, the two brothers staged Chance's death to get him into witness protection.
Ronan resisted getting close to his birth mother, Nina. Heather, who did some digging, discovered that Ronan was dying from a genetic disease and needed a liver transplant. Ronan slept with Heather, but became very angry with her after she told Nina about his condition. Ronan was fired for sleeping with Heather and letting her find out that Chance is alive. Chance returned to give Ronan part of his liver, but Ronan was spirited away after the surgery and is now missing as far as his family is concerned.

Wednesday, November 28 2012: Who's Counting?
At the restaurant, Summer tells Phyllis about Thanksgiving at Avery's. Phyllis reminds Summer if she needs to talk, she's here for her. Summer counters that she's only willing to listen lately if they're talking about her. Phyllis admits she's been focused on her crises. They discuss Phyllis working for Jack at Newman. Phyllis warns Summer not to buy into Victor's opinion of Jack - he delivered her. Ronan appears and awkwardness ensues. Summer tells him she's not the one harassing Jamie and goes. Phyllis tells Ronan not to worry about running Summer off - she's faking it anyway. Ronan says he was offered an assignment. Phyllis encourages him to take it - the timing wasn't right for them. Jack enters with Kyle and sees them. Jack wants to go home, and tells Kyle they'll hit the pharmacy on the way.
Ronan says goodbye to Michael and Paul at Crimson Lights and asks them to look out for Jamie. On the patio, Summer and Jamie are both ditching school. He says he's getting bullying texts from someone new now. Summer's confused. Jamie tells her Ronan's moving and no one gives a damn. Jamie goes to talk to Ronan and Summer calls Fen to ask what he's doing to Jamie. She watches Jamie meet Paul and Michael. Chloe arrives and reassures Kevin that she loves him.
Tuesday, November 13 2012: Garbage.
Ronan is knocks at the penthouse door with flowers. He leaves them with a notecard and Summer comes along and finds them. She stuffs them in the trash. When Phyllis gets home, Summer asks how it went, and then why she did it. Phyllis says she didn't want to go to prison and miss out on Summer's life events, and then Ronan offered to help out. Summer asks why she slept with him. Phyllis says she needed to know someone cared. Summer says, "You're still seeing him." Summer storms out after Phyllis asks where she got that idea.
Phyllis sees Ronan at Crimson Lights and asks if he's seen Summer - they argued. He asks if she got the flowers he put outside her door. She says he didn't need to do that. He apologizes for how he acted and then introduces her to Jamie. Summer spots them and leaves.
Still at Crimson Lights, Jamie gets 'Britni's' insulting email. Ronan reads it and says it's garbage. Jamie takes off. Ronan tells Phyllis what's happening and that he thinks Summer's involved.
