    EMILY PETERSON'S HISTORY

    Dr. Emily Peterson is the doctor who was treating Patty William's while she was away from Genoa City. When Patty had plastic surgery before returning to town to try to win Jack Abbott back, it was Emily's face that she chose for herself.

    Emily came to Genoa City when she was contacted by the mental facility Patty wound up in. She has taken a job in Genoa City in order to help with Patty's case. She had a contentious relationship with Patty's ex-husband, Jack Abbott that ended after Patty kidnapped her, drugged her and traded places. Emily returned to town once to see Jack briefly.

    Tuesday, February 07 2012: Building Walls.

    In the hospital, Jack snaps at his physiotherapist. Emily arrives and they talk about his anger. She confirms it wasn't her who asked him not to marry Genevieve. Phyllis and Nick arrive. Phyllis tells Emily to go - Jack doesn't need to see that face. Jack says goodbye to Emily and Jack tells Phyllis she's overprotective. Phyllis says she wants to scream at everyone who put him there. Nick tells Jack about Ricky wanting to write a story. Jack is glad Phyllis said no - Patty doesn't need that. Phyllis can't believe he's concerned about Patty. Phyllis takes a call and learns that Ricky ran the story. They speculate on why he did it.

    Thursday, February 02 2012: Get Out.

    At the station, Emily tells Tucker they've found Patty, but there's no telling how she'll react if she's cornered.

    Todd and Paul bring Patty into the station. Ricky follows and Ronan calls off the press and then shows Patty the pillows. She says she worked very hard on those - one for everyone at the park! Ronan tells Paul that Deacon told the truth. Ricky joins the conversation. Ronan remarks on him saying he heard everything on the police scanner. Emily appears and Patty sizes her up. Ronan takes Patty to be photographed. Todd goes with Emily, and Paul asks Ricky why he lied - nothing went out over the police scanner. Ricky doesn't think it matters. Paul walks away and rejoins Patty and Todd.
