It's Great To Be Back!

Heather and Chance share a table at Crimson Lights. He asks her about Adam and she tries to explain why she fell for him. Chance doesn't get it, saying she and other women like Chloe have wasted their time on men who are no good. Heather wishes he wasn't taken, and says she needs a guy like him. Chance looks away awkwardly.

OMG! My Two Brothers are Jailbirds and I'm Naked!

Chance and Heather go into their apartment. Chance gets a call that upsets him. He tells Heather that Ellis is enroute to a Club Fed prison so they can't interrogate him. He blames Ronan. Chance tells Heather he is going to talk to Ellis before he leaves. Outside their door, Chloe pulls a glass from her purse and listens! Ronan appears and catches her in the act! Chloe asks him not to tell Chance. Chance opens the door, and they go inside. Chance and Chloe kiss and catch up. Chloe gets Billy's call and has to go to work. Ronan confronts Chance and Heather about not liking how he handles things. Suddenly he gets a call saying Ellis escaped. Chance is furious! Heather gets details and Chance worries that Ellis will end up dead. He and Ronan argue about who will go downtown. Ronan leaves and phones someone, saying the Chancellor kid is worked up and may not go along with the program! Chance and Heather wait in the apartment. Chance wants to stop waiting on Ronan and do it their way. Ronan listens to their conversation - the apartment is bugged!

Unfinished Business.

In the hallway of Kevin's building, Chance accuses Chloe of moving in with Kevin because she doesn't trust him. Chloe tells him she just wanted to be close so he could see her and Delia easily. They go into the apartment Chance and Heather will be sharing - it's a studio with no sleeping space. Chloe is unsettled, but Chance claims that Heather is an assignment and nothing else. They bicker about her motives for moving in. Chloe wants to talk about it tomorrow. Heather thinks that's a great idea since she and Chance need to get to bed. Chance walks over, kisses Chloe, and tells her he loves her. Chloe then leaves with Kevin. Chance turns on Heather for pushing Chloe's buttons. She promises it won't happen again, but secretly grins.

Back in Kevin's apartment, Chloe pretends to go to bed, but then sneaks into the hall toward the other apartment. Inside, Heather's eyes are popping out of her head as she watches Chance do shirtless push-ups. She says Adam used to do the same thing, and they discuss how much she hates him now. She opens up to Chance about how men have done her wrong in her life. In the hall, Kevin catches Chloe with her ear to the door trying to listen!

Heather hangs up from Pomerantz in the apartment and thanks Chance for backing her up on the idea of prosecuting Adam. She knows now he has her back. They get ready for bed and Chance wants to go see Chloe. Heather tells him all will be well in the morning. They get into their respective beds and the curtain falls down. They both leap up in their skivvies and meet up awkwardly. Once they are back in bed, Chance sends Chloe a text saying he misses her.

Detective Hollywood!

Chance and Heather are at the jail wondering why Ronan isn't there. Chance rants about not being able to trust his new partner. They briefly discuss the animosity between Nina and Chloe. Chance states that he intends to spend the rest of his life with Chloe. Ronan appears and says they're going to go in and find out if Ellis is telling the truth about cops selling drugs. He wants Chance to watch him work, but Chance refuses to be left out, citing his experience in the military. Sid Meeks appears and Chance introduces him to Ronan. When Sid leaves, they go in to see Frank Ellis. Heather and Chance tell him they're ready to make a deal if he gives them names. Frank pretends not to remember anything, and says he's cut another deal. Ronan steps in and plays 'bad cop', threatening to tell the other prisoners he's a narc if he doesn't spill! Soon, Ronan has him up against the wall and Chance steps in, asking the guard to take Ellis out. Chance and Ronan have it out over whether Ellis actually knows anything. Heather backs Chance up. Ronan says he has to check something out before their next move - and he's flying solo. Chance tells Heather the guy has seen one too many cop flicks! Chance throws things around in frustration, saying Detective Hollywood ruined their chances of getting anything out of Ellis.

Chloe gets to Kevin's place and she asks him to help get her stuff from the car. They head out the door and run straight into Chance and Heather!

I Smell Trouble!

Billy is cooing at Delia in the Chancellor living room. Chloe comes in and he gapes at her dress. She jokes that the dress is for Chance. Katherine and Jill enter the room. Jill tells Billy they're going to need to talk alone. The doorbell rings - it's Kevin. Katherine invited him. Nina is back and comes downstairs. Paul arrives and greets Nina. He is followed by Chance and Heather. Chloe and Chance cuddle and kiss because they miss each other. Nina goes on about how glad she is that Chance is protecting Heather. Chloe notes her subtlety. They all head out to the patio, where Jill snaps at Nina about the book project. Heather alludes to her new familiarity with Chance, and he takes his cue to announce to his mother that he is engaged to Chloe. Nina gasps, "No! Don't tell me!" She says she's going to be sick and hands Paul her drink before rushing inside. Heather remarks, "That went well." Chloe tells her to shut up! Chloe says to Chance that she doesn't need his mother's approval. Kevin tells Heather he feels sorry for Chloe. Heather nods, she remembers what it's like when your boyfriend's parents don't approve. Kevin brings up Adam, but Heather won't discuss him.

Paul catches up with Nina in the Chancellor house. He tries to reason with her, but she bad mouths Chloe. Katherine intervenes, telling Nina to just give Chloe a break! Suddenly someone tells Chance there is a person there to see him. It's Ronan, his new partner. He says the force found an apartment for Chance and Heather to move into tonight! Kay asks him to stay, and Ronan shares that he hasn't been in Genoa City for awhile. He moved back from L.A. because his mother is ill. Nina remarks that she and Chance are from L.A. Chloe tells her if she doesn't stop giving her dirty looks she can move back there!

Jill and Billy finally get a moment alone at the party. She asks if he's okay about Chloe and Chance. He says he saw it coming. Jill tells him that when Liz died she found out who her biological family is. Billy reacts skeptically to the news about the Fenmores and the DNA test too. Jill is frustrated. Billy goes to seek out Chloe. He concedes that Chance is good with their daughter, but she should have told him sooner. Chloe notes he didn't exactly check with her. Billy says when she marries Chance he'll become her uncle. Chloe squinches up her nose. As Billy leaves, Ronan comes in. She says she's sorry he had to witness the family drama. He tells her she should apologize to her future mother-in-law. Chloe says it's none of his business.
