Under My Umbrella.

Sharon and Adam are in their hotel room. Sharon talks about Faith being part of the Christmas pageant, but she feels they shouldn't go. Adam thinks being with him is hurting her, adding that even if they prove his innocence, Nick still may not let her have Faith back. Sharon tells Adam about her dreams for her first Christmas with Faith. He suggests they take it one day at a time, and says she should go to the pageant.

Adam is at the Club with a man in his former suite. He wants information and pays the guy to tell him what he saw that night. Adam asks for video footage from the freight elevator the night Skye disappeared. The man says he can get it. He leaves, and returns with stills from the elevator camera. Adam calls Phyllis and warns her not to write anything until she sees what he has.

Sharon walks into the empty church and the minister talks to her. She confides in him about her situation. He tells her God forgives wickedness. She nods, saying she wants to stand by Adam, but doesn't know how much longer she can live like this. Adam appears and he tells her he had luck at the Club. He shows her the elevator photo - the people are hidden by an open umbrella but he can identify Skye's bag. He thinks Victor is the man, and says the time makes it impossible for him to have killed her and made the train to New Orleans. Sharon embraces him.

End Game.

In their hotel room, Sharon comments to Adam that it's hard to shampoo out chocolate. She laments ruining Katherine's event, but says as long as everyone thinks he murdered Skye their lives will be hell. Adam realizes she's missing Faith. He says she doesn't deserve this - it might be best if they walked away from each other. Sharon appreciates the sentiment, but says she's in too deep. Adam says it's irrelevant that he didn't kill Skye - she'll suffer for what everyone believes. Sharon tells him they bring out the best in each other, and they can solve their problems by proving he didn't kill Skye.

Adam and Sharon slip into his and Skye's old suite. He says he helped Skye fake her death before - he can get inside her head. Sharon asks if he thinks she had help. Adam points out that it's no coincidence Victor is off flying around the world. Just then, Phyllis shows up. They bicker back and forth about why each party is there. Sharon suggests that Phyllis look at the facts and do her job - they believe Skye is still alive. Phyllis listens as they present their conspiracy theory and grins. Sharon says they'll share information if Phyllis agrees to write a fact-based article. Phyllis pretends to play along, but leaves soon after, saying if they can prove Skye's alive, she'll write about that.

Mercury in Retrograde.

Adam and Sharon are in bed together at their hotel. She agrees that it feels right - except for being away from Faith. Adam's lawyer, Leslie, comes to the door, holds up Restless Style, and says, "We have a problem." They read the article. Leslie warns that juries can read. Sharon leaves to go see Noah. Adam phones someone and asks to meet.

Adam walks into Jimmy's Bar and Jack asks what he wants. Adam says Phyllis took things too far. Jack says Phyllis told the truth and now he and Sharon can live with it. Nick arrives as Adam is declaring that they need to leave Sharon out of it. He tells Nick he only loves Sharon if it's on his terms. When Adam mentions Faith, Nick takes a step toward him. Adam starts in on Phyllis being a she-devil, and a vindictive freak. Jack sucker punches him.

At their hotel, Sharon, who is covered in chocolate, and Adam, who has a bruised face, regard one another. Sharon says she wants to fight for her daughter. Adam hugs her.

The Unmasking of Sharon.

At the jail, the guard informs Adam that Sharon Newman called and has a lawyer working on his release. Adam grins. Soon, Sharon arrives outside the room, where Michael asks what's going on. She tells him she's there for Adam. Michael hisses at her to forget about him - if she sides with him, she'll lose everything! Sharon won't abandon Adam.

Nikki is sitting alone at the Club bar when Jack and Ashley come in. They invite her to join them, and they all discuss Sharon helping Adam. Ash decides she'll take a raincheck and leaves. Later, Sharon walks in with Adam. Nikki confronts Sharon, who asks her to respect her choices. Nikki tells her she's waited years to tell her what she really thinks of her, and lets loose with both barrels, calling her a spoiled, selfish tramp, and suggesting she leave town and never come back! Sharon wonders why an ex-stripper and alcoholic thinks she has the right to judge anyone. She vows to prove that Adam is innocent. Nikki tells her to go ahead - all she's got to lose is her kids. Nikki promises even Victor will turn his back on her. Adam and Sharon take a seat. A Club employee tells them they'll have to leave - they're not welcome there.
