World-Class Stress Generator.

At home, Adam tells Sharon his life is in two halves - before Victor and after Victor. Sharon says she changed too. Adam says they're a lot alike. Sharon says she's always been with powerful men and she's afraid that being in his orbit, she may not finish what she started. Sharon doesn't think she should work at Newman anymore, or live there with him. She insists that's the way it will be. Adam understands. Sharon's intrigued that he's not upset. He replies, "Who says I'm not?" Sharon wonders why he's willing to let her go so easily. Adam's glad she feels ready to get out there on her own, and glad to have had a hand in it. Sharon says his mom would be proud of him. Sharon tells him he deserves to have love in his life. She urges him not to listen to Victor's voice in his head telling him he's not good enough. Adam chuckles that he's also in his DNA. She says, "So is Hope." Adam will miss Sharon, and hopes she's never completely out of his life.

Sorry I'm Late.

Abby, Victoria, Billy, and Nick are at the ranch. Nikki and Victor talk about the doctor's visit. Victor suggests a toast. The doorbell ring - it's Adam. "Sorry I'm late." He has a wedding gift but tells Victor all of this will never be enough without Newman Enterprises. They tell him to get out. Later, Abby has to leave and Victor makes a toast about his love for Nikki with the others. Nikki faints.

Adam returns home and Sharon learns he went to see Victor and it didn't go well.

Conspiracy Theories.

At the Club, Sharon fills Adam in on her house troubles. Adam says his offer to stay at his places still stands. Sharon says she can't - Nick might file for sole custody again. Adam says Nick should trust her even if he doesn't trust him - he shouldn't put Faith in the middle. Sharon is also not sure she can resist him, and worries the Chelsea just moved out. Adam promises he'd basically ignore her. She exclaims that she'll move in as Chelsea appears. She leaves unseen. Sharon tells Adam she and Faith are going hiking with Dylan. Adam's all for it.

Neil spots Wheeler at the Club and warns him to respect Leslie's decision not to testify at her father's hearing. Later, Victor arrives and tells Wheeler to leave town. Wheeler challenges him. Victor wonders what his voters would think of him as the father of an addict and prostitute. Adam enters as Wheeler leaves. Adam teases Victor, who tells him to enjoy his conspiracy theories.

Stop The Negativity.

At the Club, Adam tells Sharon he's glad to see her so happy. They discuss Chelsea. Adam says he's decided to move on. They joke about Sharon taking the morning off and Adam kisses her goodbye. Nick approaches Sharon. "You and Adam? Seriously?" She asks him to remain calm and rational. Nick goes on about her poor choices and complains that she hired Dylan. Sharon laughs at him not wanting his girlfriend's ex around. Nick says Dylan and Adam will hurt her recovery. Sharon says to stop the negativity and informs him she'll date and hire whoever she wants - he needs to deal with that.

Mason asks Adam for his job back at Newman. Adam offers it if he will tell him about Victor and Wheeler. Mason doesn't know anything. Adam tells him he's out of luck and shouldn't have screwed him over. Nick appears, saying anyone who screws over Adam can work for him. Mason goes. Nick tells Adam to back off Sharon. Adam reminds Nick he abandoned Sharon and called her crazy while he was trying to get her help. Nick warns him again. Adam's tired of his threats. Nick says it's not a threat.

Dylan and Sharon make renovation plans at her place. Sharon learns Dylan is close with his dad, but his mom died. Sharon wonders if he talks to Sullivan about her. Dylan asks where she heard that name. Sharon tells him. Dylan takes off abruptly. Adam arrives, checks out the kitchen plans, and tells Sharon about Nick's visit. They joke about him being cartoonish. Adam invites her to move in while her kitchen's being done. "I know what I want. Do you know what you want?" They kiss passionately.

She's Sick.

At the Club, Adam asks Chelsea what she has to tell him. Sharon offers to give them space. Chelsea says they don't need it and leaves. Sharon apologizes to Adam, and wonders why he doesn't chase Chelsea - he chased her to New Orleans. Adam says he's different now. Sharon knows he cares and is in pain. Adam says it doesn't matter.

Victoria runs into Adam at the Club and tells him he doesn't deserve his position - it's all going to go away. Adam says Newman's flourishing and she won't knock him off that throne - she lost her edge.
