Adam encounters Victor in the holding room and asks if he came to ease his guilty conscience. Victor muses that self-loathing is Adam's specialty. They bicker about the lawsuit. Adam says he did his part and the judge didn't believe him - now he's facing perjury charges. Victor says he's lost his touch at lying. Victor is thrown when Adam says he's been with Koa, adding that none of this would have happened if he hadn't tried to frame him for murder. Victor feels it's all Adam's fault, saying, "You are poison."
Abby goes to Tucker's office where she learns he sent the text from Ashley. He claims he wants help choosing a wedding gift for Ash, but also offers again to buy her Newman stock. Abby says he wants to screw over her father and refuses to sell. She goes, and Adam arrives. He tells Tucker he needs cash and has legit Newman stock options for sale. They settle on a price, sign papers, and shake on it.
Nick arrives in the holding room, where he and Victor agree to put aside their differences where Noah and Faith are concerned. Sharon enters, devastated over Noah's visit. Nick and Victor try to be hopeful. Adam enters, and gets a call saying the jury's back with a verdict.
In the holding area, Adam and Sharon debate the idea of her escaping. Adam can't bear to think of her in prison. Sharon doesn't want to live life in fear, and is holding out hope that the jury will find her innocent. Adam presses her to trust him, but she shakes her head. Adam asks her to reconsider as he leaves.
At the courthouse, Billy and Nick discuss what a disaster it will be for Adam to go on the stand. Nick hopes Adam found something to help Sharon. Meanwhile, Vance tells Adam his bail is paid, and warns him not to act cocky on the stand. Proceedings get underway, with the D.A. establishing Adam is a hostile witness, before making things look bad for Sharon with his questioning. Adam finds a way to tell the jury he saw video footage from the volcano. The judge orders it struck from the record. Adam leaves the stand. Billy and Nick follow to hear about the video footage. Adam fills them in. Billy wonders if Phyllis is still in Thailand searching.
In the holding room, Adam, Vance, and Sharon discuss the case. Vance wants her to plead guilty to a lesser charge - it's that or a life sentence. Sharon cries that she won't let her kids think she's guilty. Vance goes, and Adam tells Sharon he'll help her escape.
Sharon and Adam embrace in the holding room. He tells her how sorry he is that he had to leave the way he did. They talk about getting the charges dropped and being together. They kiss. Vance comes in and Adam gives him the camera, but has to break the news that the memory card is gone. Vance asks about Phyllis. Adam says she didn't meet him at the Thailand airport as planned, but he came back to testify. Vance thinks it's a very bad idea. Adam says he won't do it then. Vance suddenly gets a call - the prosecution will call Adam to the stand.
In Thailand, Phyllis and Adam split up in the market to look for the boy who gave them the camera. They can't find him, but Adam keeps trying - they need the memory card. Finally they spot the kid. He wants more money for the memory card. They pay and the boy makes a call. A young man comes, but doesn't produce the memory card. The boy takes off. Phyllis wants to come up with another plan, but Adam dejectedly says that was it - he's failed Sharon. Adam decides he has to go back and take the stand on Sharon's behalf. Phyllis says they have to bring Koa - he saw the video too. They return to the hotel room only to find Koa gone.
Adam and Phyllis search the market for the boy with Koa's camera. Phyllis thinks it's probably futile, and Adam calls her Nancy Negative, saying it's the only chance Sharon has.
Still in the market, Phyllis and Adam continue their frustrating search for the camera. As they bicker, a young man approaches and says he heard they'll pay big money for a camera - they should talk. It's a scam, and they return to arguing until a little boy appears with the camera in his hand! They acquire the camera, but quickly realize the memory card is gone.
