Loosen Up!

At Crimson Lights, Colleen and Rafe have a coffee and she tells him her grandmother is back to full strength, but it's annoying to come back to people wanting to make her life miserable. They discuss his life, and he suggests he confide in her over something stronger than coffee. As they head to Jimmy's, Gloria and Jeffrey watch them go.

At Jimmy's, Colleen and Rafe discuss their love lives. Rafe says he broke a rule and fell for a guy who is still in the closet. Colleen asks who Rafe is seeing, but he won't tell her. He says he needs to go, and Colleen ventures over to the bar - where Aidan is sitting!

Beautiful Dreamer.

In the hospital room, Nikki tells Victor that Noah and Daniel are outside. Rafe comes in and tells Victor that Aunt Estella is praying for Summer. Victor ignores that, but tells him that he called him down there because he wants him to find out who stuck needles in Adam's eyes in prison!

Phyllis steps aside to look into Summer's hospital room, and Daniel, Nick, and Noah explain to Sharon that someone anonymously accused Phyllis of harming Summer. Sharon notes that it's the last thing they need. As Daniel and Noah head in to give Summer her blanket, Rafe emerges and asks Noah about filing his papers - Noah says it's not a good time.

Alone in his room, Adam rehearses what he will say to Rafe when he sees him next - he wants to get himself out of what he has started! As he practices his lines, Rafe knocks and comes into the room, telling Adam that his father asked him to find out who poked needles in his eyes! He says none of the jail reports mentioned needles - why would he have left out the worst part?! Adam says he didn't want to report it - the guards made him! Rafe says that would never happen! He is quite suspicious. Adam swiftly goes into seduction mode. Rafe blurts, "How stupid do you think I am?!" He tells Adam he can't sweet talk his way out of answering questions. Adam throws up his hands and laments that he thought in Rafe he'd found someone he could be himself with! He tells Rafe to get out. Rafe sighs, and says, "Adam."

Nikki arrives at the Ranch to pick up Victor's clothes, which Ashley had told her she'd leave in the foyer. When she doesn't see them, she heads upstairs to ask Adam. She opens Adam's door in time to see Adam and Rafe in an embrace. She closes the door again, unseen!

That's Not What Love Is!

In the hallway outside Adam's room, Ashley stops Victor from checking up on his son. Inside the room, Adam tells Rafe that he just couldn't handle the idea of him suspecting him like everyone else. Adam turns away dramatically and tells Rafe just to forget what he said about having feelings, but Rafe pulls him nearer and strokes his face! Adam tells him he should probably go before his father comes in. Rafe says he knows about Heather, and that the world sees him in a certain way, so if he's feeling at all confused... Adam thanks him as he leaves, saying he'll be in touch. Adam then immediately calls Heather, saying, "Heather! I need you!"

Adam answers the phone to Rafe, who is worried that he may have come off as detached when he was there earlier. He assures Adam it's not just him - he has feelings too!

In Shock!

Rafe enters Adam's room as he frantically shoves the purple gown and wig under the bed. Rafe says he wants to talk to him about Estella. They debate the evidence against her, and Rafe suggests that someone framed her! Adam denies having any role in it, reminding Rafe that he's blind and has an ankle monitor. Rafe says Estella isn't capable of this, and Adam could have had someone helping him! Rafe says if he has nothing to hide - then he won't mind him looking around! Adam thinks fast - he walks over to Rafe and says that he thought they were closer than client and lawyer - he thought there were feelings between them!

Take It Slow!

Inside the coffee house, Noah spots Rafe and asks for advice on becoming an emancipated minor! Rafe says he has to line up a place to live, telling him to come by his office later. Noah gets a call from Nick - he and Sharon have important news and want him to meet them at the Club. Noah rolls his eyes.
