Jill is in Tokyo complaining to Cain over the phone. She wants a night cap. In a nearby room, Victor meets with Genevieve. He's surprised that she clued in to all the hints he left for her. They talk about the new cosmetics line. He starts to wonder why she is really there and orders some sushi. It arrives and they continue their vague conversation. As he chuckles, Jill can hear the rasping from the other room. She walks down the hall and spots Gen. When she spots the waitress, she drags her away with the promise of a bribe. Gen returns to Victor and they continue discussing Beauty of Nature. Jill gets into a geisha outfit and eavesdrops on Victor and Gen's flirting and face groping before snapping a shot.
Acting Like A Crazy Person.
Genevieve and Jill have a run-in at Gloworm. Jill lets her know she saw her in France, but didn't broadcast it. Gen is about to leave when Cane arrives. She asks about Lily and the kids. Cane says they're fine, and tells her that he is now Jill's right-hand at Jabot. Gen remarks on the irony of being replaced by her son. Cane says there's no plot against her. Genevieve says Beauty of Nature will best Jabot and get the Mitsukoshi deal. Jill disagrees. Gen leaves. Jill and Cane discuss business and Genevieve.
Jill and Cane meet with Ashley at Jabot. They're all in agreement about how much the Mitsukoshi contract means to them. Jill says they just have to sell themselves to the right people. Cane thinks they should make contact with the Mitsukoshi shareholders. Ashley approves. She tells Jill she'll leave for Japan tonight.
Back Off My Husband!
At Jabot, Ashley confronts Jill for signing off on an Internet ad. Jill snarks that she is head of marketing and they're way behind schedule. Ashley yells that they need to communicate. Jill accuses her of micro-managing and says it was a no-brainer. Jill is put out to hear from her that Billy's left town. Ashley asks her not to overstep again or they'll have big problems. Cane arrives for a meeting and senses the tension. Ash informs them that Victoria is running Beauty of Nature - they have to pick up their game. Jill and Ashley argue again and Cane intervenes. He helps them make up. Jill is happy to get a text from Billy. Ashley gets a call from Tucker.
Elton John And Madonna.
Gloria orders Jeffrey around at Gloworm. Jill watches and tells Glo to give him a break - she obviously cares about him. Glo denies it, saying she just wants to find her money. Jill scoffs that Glo never stopped loving Jeffrey. Glo says she's with Angelo. Jill says they have as much chemistry as Elton John and Madonna. Gloria is mean to Jeffrey again, and tells Jill that she would crack the whip over Colin too, given the chance. Jeffrey encounters Anita arriving - she's surprised he doesn't know her. Anita listens as Gloria and Jill discuss the large amount of money Jeff stole. Anita abruptly leaves. Jeffrey tells Gloria the waitress left. Jill tells Gloria she shouldn't have hired her.
Bright Front. Not Buying It.
At Gloworm, Michael tells Lauren that Gloria has Fenmore and Angelo's posted a guard at the house. Jill listens as they discuss telling Kevin what's happened. Michael leaves, and the sisters get drinks. Jill notices the gun in Lauren's purse. Suddenly, Daisy appears behind them. Lauren says, "You stay away from me." Daisy wants to put it all behind them. Lauren scoffs at her innocent act. Daisy tells them she's free - get used to it. Jill comforts Lauren as Daisy goes. They discuss Lauren's gun. Lauren says she has a permit, but admits Michael doesn't know. Jill wishes she had a man to keep secrets from. They run down her love life. Lauren asks her opinion on the gun. Jill says she has a right to feel safe, but she thinks she should tell Michael.
Michael returns to Gloworm in time to hear Jill promising Lauren, "Michael won't hear it from me." Michael questions them. They say it's just sister stuff.
Let's Do It.
At Gloworm, Lauren and Michael note Jeffrey busing tables with interest. Kevin asks Gloria for boxes to move. Lauren and Michael suggest Glo go ask him what's going on with his marriage. Michael takes a call. Lauren tells Kevin they're concerned about him. Michael reappears and says Avery got Daisy's hearing moved up. He, Lauren, and Kevin leave. Jill enters and asks Gloria what Angelo thinks of Jeffrey working there. Gloria plays it smooth. Jeff flirts with Jill, who gets a kick out of him filling her water glass. Anita arrives and tells Gloria that Jill's son just kicked her out. Jill says, "Fantastic!" Gloria offers Anita a job - she can start now. Jeffrey carries in some boxes and Anita drops a handful of silverware.
What Is She Up To Now?
At home, Cane and Lily kiss. The doorbell rings - it's Katherine and Jill. They thank Kay for their romantic dream wedding and show her photos. Lily and Cane give her a sachet - a bit of Provence. She thanks them and says it's time to leave the newlyweds alone. Outside the door, Jill tells Kay she has important business to conduct. Kay whispers, "Dear God in heaven what is she up to now?"
On the patio at Crimson Lights, Ashley and Tucker discuss Devon's surgery. Ash thinks Devon should have invited him to go. Tucker says he's going anyway. Ashley suggests she talk to him first. Tucker sighs that he'll tell him today. Jill appears and tells Ashley she has Jabot business to discuss. They establish that Jill will be the head of marketing. Jill says she has just the man to replace Genevieve - Cane. Ashley's on board with it.
