Phyllis arrives at Crimson Lights and asks Daniel about Summer. Heather takes off. Phyllis asks if Heather's involved in getting her arrested, and tells Daniel she's sorry she let him down. They discuss her situation. Daniel urges her not to give up - he, Lucy, and Summer need her. Summer and Nick arrive. Ronan, Heather, and Christine appear and arrest Phyllis. Avery rushes in as they take Phyllis away. Phyllis hisses at Christine, "This is your dream come true. You love this!"
I'm So Bad For Renting A Car.
At Crimson Lights, Chloe chats with Daniel. She asks about the "whole Daisy thing." He shares he's off the hook but Ricky is a suspect. Chloe is sad for Lucy. She tells him Abby is turning it her kidnapping into a media circus but at least Carmine is looking at jail time. She's going to testify to make him pay. She condemns Abby for playing the damsel in distress card.
Christine comes into the penthouse. She shows Phyllis the statement. Chris points out the rental car charge and reminds her that was the day she ended up in the hospital. Phyllis muses, "I'm so bad for renting a car." Christine tells her she had a motive because she felt threatened that Danny kissed her. She accuses Phyllis of hating her and Danny because she couldn't control it. Phyllis denies knowing about it and claims to have moved on. It’s pathetic that she’s accusing her of trying to kill her. Christine tells her she better be prepared to say goodbye to life she knows it … because it's over. Phyllis kicks her out. Daniel shows up and wants to know what was going on. She admits she lied to Michael and Christine but wonders what else could she do. She tells him there's nothing connecting her directly to the car. Daniel wonders what will happen if she doesn't deal with it. Phyllis is willing to take a chance there isn't enough evidence to come after her. Daniel hates it but he's just going to sit back and watch. He tells her in the meantime, she can't have anything to do with Lucy.
At Crimson lights, Heather asks Daniel to join her for coffee. She shares she was kicked out the police station - she was too close to her dad's cases.
Sister Wives.
At the club, Phyllis hugs her son until it gets uncomfortable. She says Daisy needs to stay gone. They want to know what happened to her for sure though. He doesn't think his mom should be treating this like it's a 'silver lining'. They bicker about how far they would have gone to get rid of her. She's shifty.
Daniel goes to Crimson Lights for coffee. Nick runs into him and Daniel fills him in about the Ricky situation. He worries about how giddy his mom is being. Nick tells him she has good reason to be on edge. Later, Kevin joins his friend. They talk about what's happened. Kevin says that Lucy is lucky to have him. "She's got you too," Daniel reminds him.
Are You Serious?
Heather finds Daniel eating muffins with Lucy at Crimson Lights. She explains that she's removed herself from the investigation. He pays his condolences for Ricky and they talk over the Daisy case. "I always knew we had the wrong guy," she assures him. She's never seen him as dangerous. They talk about Lucy and how much she must miss her mom. Daniel guesses she wants to hold her so he hands her over. He thinks she'll be a good mom some day.
At the Club, Lauren tells Phyllis that Paul wouldn't have lied about what happened. She can't believe he has to live with killing his son. Lauren assumes her friend must be relieved at least. Phyllis needs to see a body on a slab first. They pray that Daisy's out of their lives for good this time. Michael wanders by to kiss his wife and get some cold shoulder from the redhead. Once he's gone, Lauren admits she's not crazy about her husband being the DA. Later, Daniel shows up and tells them about his run-in with Heather.
Come To Papa!
Avery tells Nick and Phyllis, at the penthouse, about Paul's predicament. Daniel comes downstairs and says he thinks Paul's telling the truth about what Ricky said about Daisy. He wonders if she's really dead.
Nick returns to the penthouse where Avery, Phyllis, and Daniel are cooking up plan to prove that Ricky could have killed Daisy - thereby freeing Daniel.
