Nick arrives at the ranch and tells Victor that Wheeler's gone too far. He shows him the pin and says they need to stop him. Victor cautions they need solid proof - have let him make a mistake first.
Toxic.
In the hospital, Nikki and Abby explain to the nurse about the series of unofficial weddings Victor has planned. Abby steps out and Victor tells her there's a glitch with the minister. Abby tells him Nikki is focused on his epic displays of love instead of her illness. She goes back to Nikki and suggests she let Nick and Victoria know she's there. She doesn't want to. Abby rambles until Victor appears with Justice Clarice Collins. Nikki tells Victor, with a big smile, that he's terrible. "Let's get married." Clarice Collins does the ceremony while the nurse hums. Nikki beams and then Victor kisses the bride. Abby and Clarice join the nurse for a rendition of 'When The Saints Go Marching In'.
Tell The Reptile You're Having His Baby.
At the Club, Victor tells Abby he needs her help with a plan to keep Nikki optimistic until they can wed. He's planned a series of surprise events. Nearby, Avery stops Leslie - she knows that she and Tyler are Gus Rogan's children. Leslie begs her to leave it alone - he's not innocent. They argue. Leslie says he'll come looking for them if he gets out. Avery says he can't rot in prison for something he didn't do! Leslie hisses that she saw him murder her mother. They continue debating. Avery thinks Gus was trying to revive her when she saw him. Leslie tells Avery if she unleashes a killer and destroys their lives, it's on her.
At the hospital, Abby and Victor greet Nikki, promising not to call Vikki and Nick and worry them. Abby goes. Victor asks Nikki for the truth. She admits she's afraid they won't get married. Abby reappears in a preacher get-up carrying a bouquet and a bible. Victor says they'll get married every day until she's well enough to walk down the aisle. Abby performs the ceremony.

At the ranch, Nikki is unconscious on the sofa. Vikki calls for an ambulance while Billy calls her doctor. Nikki comes around and tells them to cancel the paramedics. Victor still wants the doctor to come. Nikki's irritable over the fuss. They try to talk her into postponing the wedding. Victor listens as Nikki tells Vikki she wants to get married tomorrow - otherwise the MS might prevent her from getting married ever. The doctor arrives. Victor whispers to Vikki that the wedding will be too much for her. Vikki says not getting married might be worse. The doctor declares that her blood pressure's high - he warned about avoiding stress. Nikki asks about the wedding. The doctor insists she hold off until her strength is back. Nikki's put out. They reassure her. Victor holds her. "It's just a temporary setback." Once alone, Nikki flashes back to their past weddings and cries. Victor phones someone and says the wedding had to be postponed and he needs their help to cheer Nikki up.
Sorry I'm Late.
Victor kisses Nikki while she plays piano at the ranch. She wonders how long until she can't play anymore. He has a specialist coming to see her. Later, the specialist tells her she's in the early stages of MS and nerve damage is minimal. She may even go into remission on her own. He advises avoiding stress and paying attention to any bodily changes. After, Nikki is frustrated that there is nothing she can do about this. Victor doesn't want to worry now. They get ready for the rehearsal dinner and Victor puts a diamond necklace on her while talking about beauty and strength.
Adam tells Sharon about the amenities in his house. She laughs and asks him to help carry in her bags. Nick appears - Faith told him she was moving someplace they can't visit and he figured it out. Adam says he gets a gold star. Nick tells Sharon this is a bad idea. Sharon says it's none of his business. Adam reminds him how much he's helped Sharon - where was he when the entire family turned against her? He accuses Nick of wanting Sharon to fall apart - he gets off on being a knight in shining armor. Sharon tells Nick she doesn't need him to do that anymore - Adam taught her how to be strong. Nick mentions the rehearsal dinner and leaves. Sharon tells Adam she's sorry...about the wedding. He quips that he's sure they'll invite him to the next one.
Abby, Victoria, Billy, and Nick are at the ranch. Nikki and Victor talk about the doctor's visit. Victor suggests a toast. The doorbell ring - it's Adam. "Sorry I'm late." He has a wedding gift but tells Victor all of this will never be enough without Newman Enterprises. They tell him to get out. Later, Abby has to leave and Victor makes a toast about his love for Nikki with the others. Nikki faints.
Conspiracy Theories.
At the ranch, Victor looks at court documents about Avery's case. Nick arrives and grills Victor about Wheeler and his connection to Avery's case. Victor realizes Nick thinks Wheeler might be behind Avery's brakes being cut. They bicker about Victor's disregard for the little people. Victor tells Nick he'll take care of things but he wants something in return - Nick to be the best man at his wedding. After a frank exchange, Nick agrees.
Neil spots Wheeler at the Club and warns him to respect Leslie's decision not to testify at her father's hearing. Later, Victor arrives and tells Wheeler to leave town. Wheeler challenges him. Victor wonders what his voters would think of him as the father of an addict and prostitute. Adam enters as Wheeler leaves. Adam teases Victor, who tells him to enjoy his conspiracy theories.
