Hope walks into her kitchen to find Victor on the kitchen floor having an epileptic seizure. She goes to him, asking if he's okay, but Victor has no idea of what just happened and refuses Hope's offer to call an ambulance. He's confused, doesn't know how he got there, and assumes that he was simply clumsy and fell. Hope is skeptical. She makes him a cup of tea and insists he tell her the truth about himself. He admits that he is ill, but that it is not life threatening. He wanted to come to say goodbye to her, as he's scared. There is so much more that he needs to find out about himself. Victor starts to fade as Hope asks him about the disease, and his medication. He hears beautiful guitar music in his head. She suggests it's about a spiritual quest.
