    CHELSEA LAWSON NEWMAN'S HISTORY

    Chelsea met Billy in Myanmar and had sex with him when he was drunk and missing Victoria desperately. She planted drugs on him and he was thrown in jail. She was conspiring with her mother, Anita, and Victor Newman, who later brought her to Genoa City, to keep Billy from Victoria. A pregnant Chelsea showed up at Billy's door in Genoa City prepared to get as much money as she could out of the pregnancy, but softened toward him and Victoria, turned her back on her scheming mother, and agreed to sign over the baby to Billy and Victoria for adoption.

    Chelsea lived in the garage apartment at Billy and Vikki's place while pregnant, and struck up a friendship with Adam Newman, who helped her find out her biological father is Jeff Bardwell. Despite a DNA test, Chelsea didn't receive a warm welcome from Jeff, who denied being her dad. Before giving birth, Chelsea fell through the ice on the pond after an argument with Vikki and Adam saved her life and delivered the baby. Chelsea followed through and signed over the child to Billy and Vikki, but decided not to leave town, even when Victor offered big money for her to do so. With Adam's encouragement she earned her GED and they decided to get married on the farm in Kansas. Anita showed up back in Genoa City and Jeff admitted he is Chelsea's father. The pair began cozying up to the newlyweds, who bought Genevieve's estate.

    After finishing her high school equivalency program, Chelsea became pregnant with Adam's child. They were ecstatic. Unfortunately, as they were headed to the airport for a holiday, Summer, who was driving upset, swerved into their lane and caused a wreck. Chelsea lost the baby soon after in the hospital. Chelsea and Adam began having issues as he seemed to be emotionally unavailable to Chelsea when they were grieving. Adam became involved with Sharon again after saving her from the fire she started at the ranch, which caused Chelsea to become jealous and suspicious. Adam insisted he loved Chelsea, and only Chelsea, but then she caught him kissing Sharon.

    Wednesday, June 19 2013: Creative Differences.

    At work, Chelsea and Chloe talk about men. Chelsea says Dylan told her he loved her. Chloe's pleased. Devon arrives to work. Tyler enters saying he told them to go ahead with his designs. Devon is pissed and calls to stop it. Tyler grabs his phone. Kyle and Summer arrive and everyone gives Tyler and Devon space. They argue heatedly. Chloe suggests they knock it off. Chelsea complains that she can't bring Summer out while this is going on.

    Chelsea arrives at Crimson Lights and complains to Dylan about how difficult creative types can be. He gives her the first cup of decaf. She marvels that Kevin tried to fix that for years. They talk about all the things he hasn't done that he wants to do. He says, "I haven't been married..." Nearby, Kyle and Summer discuss her career. She doesn't like the thought of leaving him. He says he has to cancel dinner to go out of town on business.

    Friday, June 14 2013: Fight Back.

    Chelsea and Dylan, at her work, recover from her saying she loves him. She hopes he'll say he feels he same way. Dylan stammers that everything just happened so fast... Chelsea agrees. She just caught up in the fantasy of it all. Suddenly, she decides he's not in love with her because he's still in love with Avery. Chelsea wishes she'd never brought up the word. Anita bursts in to take Chelsea to lunch. Dylan goes. Chelsea learns Anita plans to tell Adam the truth about the baby. Chelsea also lets her know she realizes she sent flowers from Adam. Anita can see she loves Dylan but he's not the baby's daddy. She was wrong to keep Chelsea from Jeffrey and doesn't want her to make the same mistake. Anita says she can't stop her from telling Adam. Chelsea warns she will shut her out of her life completely.

    Dylan finds Avery working at Crimson Lights and tells her he bought the place. She wishes him luck. He notices her ring and congratulates her too. He says not long ago he thought she was the only woman he'd ever love. She says she felt the same way about him. They talk about moving on. Dylan wonders if epic love can happen more than once. Later, Chelsea joins Dylan. He says he saw Avery earlier and stammers a lot before telling Chelsea he loves her.
