thats how it should have been ever since Cane's family came into town but we hardly saw any interactions between her and his family. I just don't get that.

Yes she would have! Cane's family brought a lot of potential. I often have a feeling that if lane/atkinsons had bonded they would have dominated the show and mab didn't want that either.
They would have these actors are extremely talented, CK/DG,JW/TR would have dominated more than the Newmans and the Abbots these two families have become too boring and very predictible. Personally, I have lost interest in the Newmans a long time ago.
The newmans suck and Victor needs a long extended vacation preferably to the moon never to be heard from them again. I could name a few other characters that annoy the hell out of me but i don't want to ruin my evening..but isn't it interesting Ll how BORING this show has become. It used to be interesting and just refreshing to watch, the characters were dynamics and the s/l would have you sitting at the edge of your seat! all thats gone!
Lanie, This show is just awful, I have not watched for more than six months, and I have no interest to start now, unless the writing gets better for Lane I will not watch. Yes, I used to sprint to the gym just to watch this show, and I mean the all show not just Lane, I actually enjoyed all the characters even if some annoyed the he11 out me, but I still watched the whole show. The minute these so called writers took over the writing for the show, this show started going down hill, and I think it's at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean at the moment I just cannot get into anymore, I only watch the Lane scenes on Youtube.
I hear you .. most of the characters have been overexposed and I have on desire to see them ever again.
I wish for the days of LML she had some good concepts no how to continue building the show. I especially miss her writings for lane and the winters and the Carltons.
Oh Lanie, I truly miss LML especially her writing, the show was so much better, her storylines were more realistic, and don't even get me started on MAB for killing the Colleen's character there was no reason for doing that, but of course we all know why she did that don't we
