CK looked like she did when accepting her award, same dress and everything. MAB, look whose laughing now, CK. You tried everything to get rid of or annihilate this wonderful actress. She brought home an Emmy despite the horrible material that she was given to work with most of the time. Way to go Christel! Love you much Mrs. Lily Amanda Ashby. I found this on twitter and thought it was exceedingly funny!
When a reporter joked that her character, Lily, forgave her husband Cane, for lying to her because he was well endowed: "I can’t [lie.] That’s part of what keeps her there. I’ve done that before."
You go, girl! ROFLMBO! My personal opinion is that the storyline was so obviously awkward and stupid, there is no reason why she should not have gone back to Cane! To this day, they have not had one solid conversation about anything that has happened to them. And I am being serious when I state this. A love story w/ no dialogue is just plain stupid & I have never accepted any part of it. Zooming from Point A to Point D at lightning speed is not a good image for Y&R. None of the details in between the two points were ever discussed or taken into consideration.
