18 children from K to Grade 4 - babies...just babies. I feel sick to my stomach - how can there be such evil in the world? Coward took his own life.

My mother is a retired school teacher, she always said she didn't understand why all schools weren't locked from the outside when school was in session...

This just breaks my heart, I read there was only one shooter and he is dead and was a parent of one of the kids but I know news can be conflicting when it just happened. I can't even imagine what those kids and parents are going through, Iam just sick to my stomach because of it.

WOW, It is such a shame the way this world is today, My prayers are with the families.

There are so far 2 reported shooters, 1 dead, 1 in custody, though official confirmations are still pending.

Truly sad. I live in CT...we are all just disgusted and shocked as the news continues to report what happened just a few hours ago. So far 27 people (18 of them children) are dead.

Waiting to hear official response from the Governor and/or State Police Spokesman.

BTW...it's an elementary school (600 students). Some reports stated most of the children killed were in one area/classroom and that the gunman went into the main office and shot several adults...

Again, this isn't official, just reports heard on the local news.

Eighteen children and eight teachers, including the principal, were killed. They're also saying the shooter is dead as well. My prayers are with the families of those who were lost. I'm also praying for all of the children and teachers who witnessed this horrible massacre. It's so sad and heartbreaking.
