Quote jcren: Well if Cameron wants to press charges against Sharon -- he can. I have a hard time seeing them going anywhere since I don't know too many judges in the world who would convict a rape victim from defending herself against her attacker. And their probably aren't too many victims that would dump the body instead of running out and going to the cops or dialing 911 to get help immediately!! |

Why do I get the feeling Kyle is behind Ricky's death? He doesn't want Eden to undergo hypnosis and he wants to control her when it comes to remembering the night Ricky was killed. Kyle must have killed Ricky out of revenge Eden. |

Quote granny45: Quote Its not real: Quote granny45: Quote jcren: Oh it was a big deal. Summaries don't get into the fact that it also wasn't even her first attempt on her life. This thing was drawn out over many weeks of her planning it out. Paul got hurt the worse. Christine was pretty banged up though. But she tried to murder a woman. THAT IS A BIG DEAL. Apparently that isn't what the judge is going to decide! Doesn't really matter what the judge decides. I was watching back when this played out the first time around and I remember it as a big deal too. And besides how big a deal it was back then, everything that Phyllis has done since her involvement raised it's ugly head again is enough to make it a big deal. Phyllis took money from Summer's trust fund to pay Tim off. Then she tried to drug a man, who later ended up dead in her house, and she illegally moved the body. She has pulled in a federal agent to lie for her and mess with evidence. if Ronan didn't think it was "a big deal' why would he ever have gone there? We all know that people get convicted on ridiculous evidence and let off for ridiculous reasons in GC court rooms all the time, so the verdict the 'judge' delivers means very little. But the seriousness of Phyllis' attempt at murder is shown by the length of this story line, the number of people sucked in, and the effect it has had on the lives of everyone surrounding Phyllis. If we are going to go back 20 years and convict the characters for the crimes they "tried" to commit back then, maybe we should add another charge to Sharon's charges since she clobbered the guy who attacked her back in Denver YEARS ago and instead of calling 911 and reporting the rape she decided to hide the body that she thought was dead(sounds similar to what Phyllis & Kevin did, right). I guess the story could just keep trying to get people convicted of their prior crimes..........YAWN! Why does Sharon get dragged into almost everything about Phyllis. But I certainly see the similarities defending yourself and running someone down because they kissed your husband.....guess its too bad Sharon did return the favor to Phyllis. This is about Phyllis not Sharon. You can trash Sharon in the many bash Sharon threads. |

Kyle must have killed Ricky out of revenge Eden. How could Kyle have killed Ricky? We all saw Paul shoot Ricky and then Ricky's plunge through the window. |

And by the say, Sharon wasn't "defending" herself anymore - the guy was passed out - she thought he was dead, that she had killed him - THEN she dumped his body - he was no longer a threat and she should have reported the rape and let the cops deal with it! |

Maybe Phyllis will tell her lawyer that the Prosecutor,Heather,is involved with her son.Heather would have to admit that it's true and the judge will declare a mistrial or drop the charges.Heather will lose her job again because of her poor choice in men.She should have known better than to get involved with Daniel before the trial.Phyllis will get away with her crimes but may lose her family.I'm hoping Nick will walk in on her in bed with Ronan and he'll finally be through with her.So Sharon is finally going to have her breakdown, this has been a long time coming. |

Kyle must have killed Ricky out of revenge Eden. I was thinking the same thing today, Kyle seems to be pushing to hard for it to be nothing. Maybe because of how his mother's death/murder. |
