He will spend the rest of this year winding down MAB's stories and doing clean up. Right now, the priority is downsizing the cast and recasting. |

Oh yeah, maybe the VETS will take a back burner and might loose their jobs.. but so what???? What has Kay and Victor really contributed in the last few years??? I watched when those two characters had the center stage along with John Abbott.. and it was WONDERFUL.. but they have aged along with many of us viewers. The best the Vets can offer is to be advisors to the 2nd generation.. IT IS TIME FOR THE 2Nd GENERATION.. If Sony/CBS wanted this type of writing to continue, they would have kept MAB and her team.. but they did not.. so, there has to be a reason.. Yessssss, we will see and it might be that Sony/CBS wants Y&R gone completely.. but for some reason they did not want to give MAB the pleasure of burying it.. I can only "hope" it IMPROVES and I enjoy it again.. if not.... and it leaves, MY life will go on.. PurrrrrrrKitty, I agree with you that some changes need to be made, I only made that statement from my experience in the working world.....when a new boss comes on board sometimes the changes are not what was wanted or expected. I sure we both agree that we want the Y&R to have exciting storylines and be the best for actors and viewers alike. No offense was meant to you anyone else. |

Nikki always, always running off to find Victor who she feels such a desire to protect. The rest of the crew.. well far too silly to mention.. OKKKKKKKKKKK....... I don't know about anyone else.. but I am more than ready for this mess to end.. and let's see what is at the end of the writer's pen's.. I don't really care who EP fires.. I just want a better Soap.. something to look forward to. and I don't believe she is going to fire the Veterans.. not yet.. she needs them to keep the basic base.. but will back burner them.. which is smart.. Having come out of the Corporate world and watching an over haul to a company.. to save it.. many people were very upset.. many people said bad things about the new CEO.. but it saved the company, which was the goal.. Again, I will repeat, it will either get better.. and people will return.. or it will get worse and it be gone. I I am sure the new writers will turn Sharon back into Betty Crocker. At least she was believable as a homemaker. Victor will return at some point and kick her little keister into the elevator...a la Adam's coffin out of the plane.
