Yep, we know we won't see their work until mid October.. but they are probably busy re-casting and trying to figure out what they are going to do.. They CANNOT take a wrecking ball to this Soap.. unless, they were told to destroy it.. the change will require some time and slowly return the characters with a deeper meaning.. and end those stupid story lines. AND UP DATE THE SETS!!!!!!

I have GREAT hopes for the Christmas holidays.. by then, maybe, maybe they will have turned it around "enough" for it to be enjoyable again..

Until then, we have to suffer through so much CRAP!!!!

i already seem there works on two soaps already didnt like there outcome of it, not good at all.

I know we have to give the new regime time to see if they can straigthen out the show, but I don't think recasting part time character is going to do it, my opinion I think the first thing they need to do is to change Nick and Sharon back into the people that we loved but give them a little edge.....let Sharon come out on top for once,give Nick something else to do but be Phyllis lap dog take some of the Phyllis s/l away

I am so over this ridiculous nut job !! How many times are we going to have to put up with Victor pulling disappearing acts and Nicki running off to find him? Come on!!!! And now Sharon becoming Mommy Dearest, in the board room, sounded like Joan Crawford when she barged into the dead husband's business and told them not to &(*& with her !!!! I have watched this show from the beginning and really you can go for months without watching and when you go back, not much has changed. Should be called the Old and the Hopeless !!! I hope they get this storyline over soon, and also the one with Paul. Good grief !!!!!

I'm not sure what we are going to get with the new regime, but it could not be any worse than what is on the screen now.
This show should start having those warnings about content that you see on prime time shows and movies.
It could read: Warning! Some scenes may be highly insulting and incredibly stupid.Viewer discretion is advised!
What we have now is Phyllis covering up another one of her crimes and Sharon suddenly turning into Business Barbie.
With the possible exception of Tucker, everyone elses I.Q. has dropped about 30 points.

Keep the Vets so they can act out roles they were doing 20 years ago?? i.e. Victor still trying to be a "romantic" lead..and beating up men?? . .has so little to do with his business that he has far too much time to mettle in his children's lives.. He has become a mean old man..

Act like the 2nd generation is not grown?? In fact, there is a 3rd generation that is now grown and became grown almost over night....thanks to MAB..

Is that what we want to continue to watch???

If so, why are the viewers leaving in droves???

I for one CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEW REGIME.. It CANNOT, CANNOT GET ANY WORSE.. Oh yeah, maybe the VETS will take a back burner and might loose their jobs.. but so what???? What has Kay and Victor really contributed in the last few years??? I watched when those two characters had the center stage along with John Abbott.. and it was WONDERFUL.. but they have aged along with many of us viewers. The best the Vets can offer is to be advisors to
the 2nd generation..

IT IS TIME FOR THE 2Nd GENERATION..

If Sony/CBS wanted this type of writing to continue, they
would have kept MAB and her team.. but they did not.. so, there has to be a reason.. Yessssss, we will see and it might be that Sony/CBS wants Y&R gone completely.. but for some reason they did not want to give MAB the pleasure of burying it..

I can only "hope" it IMPROVES and I enjoy it again.. if not.... and it leaves, MY life will go on..
