It's the need to make an issue about LEAD vs Supporting that I'm talking about. In the big scheme of things will it make people like her less or convince others to like her more? It's just another way that opposing fanbases drag each other through the mud. It's exhausting. +1 It was really weird. This was just a positive MS/Phyllis appreciation thread and then some posters came in just to spread negative energy over semantics regarding lead actress vs supporting actress. Really sad. |

I am so glad to see it again and I really hope that the new broome's that come in will give this character her personality back and stop all of this rewinded garbage. Phyllis has come a long way baby and MAB was stupid to think that she turn off her fans by regressing her like she was frozen in time. I am so glad to see this side of our girl. This show needs some comedy to relive us from the horrors of the horrible writing we have had to look at. Goodby MAB, welcome back! To be accurate, Michelle has won two Emmy awards for best actress in a daytime drama. She has been nominated countless times along with some of the best actors in daytime. The last time I saw her was for about 30 seconds on Ringer. There is a bit difference between Lead and Supporting, just look at the Oscars for another example. All I was asking for was accuracy. Without it, impressions are formed that aren't necessarily true. There are so many rumours and innuendos going around, especially now that have no basis in fact. These things have a tendency to grow as we all know. I find THAT to be exhausting.Accuracy is always important to CREDIBILITY. |

I love MS's portrayal of Phyllis.. she is so good that some actually hate the actress cuz she plays her part so well. It is such a testament to the ability of the actress, isn't it? Some even get her confused with the character, she plays her so well. Michelle Stafford owns the character and she brings this character alive for us everytime we see her. What is just so amazing is her range. She can bring every emotion out in the fans. That is special for any actress. No wonder she wins awards. She really deserves them. Just recently they gave her a gold star, full page mention in SID for her acting on Y&R. It is no wonder. She rocks the role.

I really don't get why there's succh a need to turn every positive thread about Michelle Stafford or the character of Phyllis into such a negative pit. It's not just you there's been a few posting in this thread and it's obvious the intentions are to stir up and bait fans. I don't understand it either. If you look, there are hardly any Phyllis fans here anymore because they have all been banned or run off and basically by hand picked bashers and baiters who are here for that purpose. They don't want Phyllis fans here and they don't want threads to show up on the front page that are complimentary to Michelle or her character, Phyllis. Too bad. The show has millions of Phyllis fans and wheather or not they are welcomed on the this message board, doesn't make them disappear. We are very vocal and we will always find ways to praise this actress and her character. I don't understand how or why this allowed to go on here but it doesn't stop her fans at all. They will always support her and no matter how we get bashed and baited and run off, we will stand firmly in favor of her where it counts the most. I think that there are threads for the Phyllis haters but like I said earlier, there are those posters who are here for the purpose of trying to run off Phyllis fans and run down the character and the actress. I am surprised that those posters get away with it, which leads me to believe that is what they are supposed to be here for. That is why most Phyllis/Michelle fans just don't come. They feel bullied and beat up if they try to come here and most of them just feel that it is wrong that the boards support that. |
