Why we are tired of Phyllis...

Just thinking about the posters who are tired of the Phyllis show. Two reasons why I am tired of her are she never is punished for her wrong-doings, and she drives me crazy with repeating. My dad was a speech teacher and coached many debates, so I am appalled at the crap she spews out ALL OF THE TIME. If she stammered and stuttered and repeated on rare occasions, that would be tolerable. BUT....she does it all the time!!!! |

Maybe she can't stop 'cause she's on drug. That could be a great s/l. |

I work at a children psychatric hospital, and most of these kids are here because of parents like Phyllis. Hence why I hate her so much. The things that comes out of her mouth is freaking unbelievable. She herself needs to be in a mental institution for a long time. |

Big changes are on the way. I think a few of the vets will get the axe. So you just have to be patient. The vets are older and have the biggest contracts will be the first JFP will get rid of. |

I just don't want Phyllis on my screen everyday. The problem isn't the vets or the charcters, it's the writing. Firing ppl isn' going to solve a dam thing. They might as well say bye to soaps. |

JPF won't fire or sideline all the vets, but the Y&R executive that spoke undercover, told the reporter that Sony and CBS wants Y&R to look more like Hollywood Heights and Dallas. Some of the vets would support the younger cast who will be the stars of the show. Some of the older vets will be phased out completely. |

All women over 40 and men over 50 are in danger of getting the axe. JFP has a very long track record that we can look at. I think MM is very wise to remain quiet during this transition. He has been very out spoken in the past, that could come back to bite him. |

Seriously, could you stop saying stuff like this and trying to make it sound as if it is the truth lol. JFP is NOT the boss, Sony is and whatever decision they make will also need to be run by CBS. As for MM, maybe he is remaining quiet for his own personal reasons not anything to do with the show or maybe it has to do with the show and he just doesn't feel like talking to us right now. Or maybe he just wants us to miss him so bad so the show can see that we miss him..who knows. I can't stand when we fans are being manipulated. Lawd knows some fans have been downright nasty to him (and sometimes he has not been kind to us either lol). Speculating is half the fun, this thread makes me LMAO because you just never know what the plans for the future will be.

I wish they'd stop writing Phyllis to be a monster. She's a good actress and I like her on the screen when she's being productive, like as an editor or amateur sleuth. In fact, I actually love Phyllis when she's at her best. |
