    You don't know how much they are being offerred. The shows can be lowballing them and asking them to take extreme cuts to try to force them out without actually having to say they were fired.

    I really don't think having vets on Y&R or any of the shows will mean the fans will keep watching, I mean Y&R had Phyllis, Sharon, Victor, Nick, Jack, Nikki, Vikki, Paul and a few others on the previous week and the show still lost 139,000 viewers.

    It's not about the vets IMO but about the writing so they could bring on new and cheaper actors and if they really write for them fans will stick around and watch.

    WOW! I always wanted Ridge and Taylor to be back together to be the next generation of Forrester with thier children. I wonder what happens to Brooke now? Does she end up with Eric? I would love to see Taylor and her children take over Forrester with Thorne. I just can't believe it.

    I don't care what he's being offered, I'm sure it's still a nice amount! I'm sure what he makes a year, would take me 20! It is still a job. His low ball, is probably a Lotto winning for me!

    Anyways, I don't know if this was just about a paycut or what.
    I truly think the days of daytime soaps are very limited. With all
    the Reality TV and the insane amount of talk shows, it doesn't
    look good.......

    I never cared for Bo or Ridge but I understand how important they were to B&B and Days. Sony and CBS are not playing anymore.
