Homosexual stories are awful. Two failures:

1. Adam Newman & Rafe Torres have homosexual sexual relations.

2. Phillip Chancellor III fakes his death because he is secretly Homosexual.

Nobody enjoy these homosexual stories!

NO MORE HOMOSEXUALITY ON Y&R!

This show will surely be canceled.

I hope the spoilers are wrong. There are two major problems with gay story lines.
First, a huge majority of people are straight and while we aren't homophobic, it just doesn't do anything for us to watch two men or two women kissing, etc. We enjoy watching romance between couples who we can relate to.
Second, there's not much to tell, other than perhaps the outing itself. (And among GC's people, I don't think the outing would be a big deal.) We know Rafe is gay and that's fine, but there won't be pregnancies, children, affairs (probably), etc. It would be really unpleasant to watch gay bashing/homophobic cruelty to him or anyone else.

IMHO there just isn't any logical reason for another gay storyline. It will not improve ratings at all.

i agree i feel thats what tank as the world turns and guilding light was those gays storylines and they lost viewer because of it and the reason those soaps got ax we dont want this soap gone daytime in the afternoon is boring enougt with the talk and let make a deal we want to save ours soaps no more gay storylines

I think if it is well written it can be a good story. Series like Grey's Anatomy have very well done, as at this moment in "Days" with the character of Will Brady. I'm for, but with good writing.
But I want her to be for Kyle Abbott
