The Soap Whisperer tweeted July 27 that the days of MAB letting stars run the show are over. JFP doesn’t play that game. “So with JFP coming in you can bet your bottom dollar there will be changes. There is a list of folks they want gone from the show.”

I just heard Marie Bell and some of the Y&R people talking on Daytime Confidential and they were saying that Sony&CBC will be in charge and the only ones that will be cut is the ones that are naught fan favorits.That JFP and Josh will naught have free rain like they did on the other soaps.That they will be keeping all the fan favorits.So by the sounds of it Sony and CBC will be making all the decisions naught the new hired help.

I've read many, many times how little control the actors have over what goes on with the show. I tend to believe this is true.

The actors may naught have control but the owners do and that is SONY and CBC.I don't think they want to lose all there popular couples when there is so many on there that don't do much.

I have read before that certain actors run the show I won't say who,because it is hearsay but it is not any of the people being named here,as a matter of fact,some actor's who are on recurring contracts have made comments after coming back for a stint once in awhile.

I also think MAB became aware of it and because she was on tenderhooks (I don't buy her,it took me by surprise) she tried to work some s/l for people who had been ignored.JMHO

I really don't think they are going to rid of their popular couples on the show that would be kind of stupid on their part if there gone then who would watch the show all the interesting people would be gone.
