Chloe should have a best friend in NY and he could have just broken up with his lover.. he could be flamboyant and fun and he could totally fall for who ever it is going to be that is going to be gay..being chloe's friend he could totally come work at the magazine or something ITA, that is an awesome idea. I could totally see Chloe trying to fix her friend up in GC.........  It would be great..Im just glad today's kids have lost this hate for people that are different than them.. they are much more accepting. ICAM, and I hope so......I think in general you are right....I have hope for the next generation.......

I agree with you 100%! This is really disgusting to me that in the year 2012, we are seeing this type of backwards and sickening behaviour! I happen to love Modern Family! I love the fact that when you watch the gay couple on that show, they are just funny, lovable characters. It really makes no difference that they are gay. I would love to see someone that is really funny, fun-loving, young, hip and gay on the show. You're so right, this is not 1982! We all know that gay people exist! This show has all kinds of vile, putrid and twisted things going on constantly. How someone can say that all of that is alright, but just don't put any of those yucky gay people on....SICK, IMMATURE and APPALLING!!!! Again...GREAT POST!

Makes me wonder sometimes though......I read major pushback on another MB on the "gay" story on BB which was nothing..... I was appalled also to read the ignorance on the comment board of Army Wives in regard to their gay couple......  It is disheartening to read these things.....It make me wonder how big of a pushback really exists....... I suppose ignorance is forever........

I am a waitress.. and I had a customer one day that I almost lost my job over..a pair of guys got married in my area,, one was a cop and of course he was gay.. so of course it made front page of the paper.. and I went to this customer and he just out and out says to me.. Can you believe these queers? I was like wtf? I said pardon? he said can you believe these queers think they can get married like we do.. this man did not know if I was gay.. or if someone close to me was gay.. and he chose to make this ignorant comment..and I flat out told him he was an ignorant hick LOL my boss was like YOU CANNOT do that ;0) YES I CAN Good for you!!!! and Kudos!!!........ That is hard, I know.....I want to say many things to my customers that I don't...but you stood up for right.... IMO, in life, somewhere standing up for right will always be rewarded....... |
