Please don't turn this into a race or sexuality thing because it's two different thing. The point that the OP and others are trying to point out, is that the s/l has been done and it didn't work. They tried it with Rafe and it died, just as fast as they started it. They couldn't find anyone to pair him with, so he's on reaccuring status. Also alot of people watching local tv, this isn't cable, are still struggling watching a man and a man or a woman or a woman having a sex scene. It's not the same as watching a man and a woman sex scene. B&B is trying this s/l, and not really making big with the s/l because we bearly see the couple. Other soaps has tried it and it also failed. We can bearly get over the s/l we have now, why start this one. I didn't know this was going to start trouble. I don't want daytime to see this. I have watch B&B in months. I'm saying that they is no reason that you should start the story again knowing it failed the first time. You do that you will not only lose viewers, but it will fail. Trixie60, I agree with you. There is so much other stuff they could come up with. This kind of story failed on ATWT&GL. It is not going to well on Y&R for a second time. Your thread was supposed to be about posters who do not want a gay story line, not posters coming into the thread attacking others for their opinions on the matter. Sorry that has happened. We all have a right to express our opinions here and I feel that sometimes when posters post a certain way about something, I do not want to participate in certain discussions. I feel a certain way about something and that's the way I feel. One shouldn't try to change my mind. I don't do that to others so therefore my choice was to stay out of the thread after I saw how it was going but thankyou for agreeing with me. Oh please! You are saying that you don't want a group of people represented on Y&R. That's offensive. If you don't get that. Abd feel like we are bashing your "homophobic" commentsz then I really feel sorry for you as a person. I am talking about EQUALITY of all groups of people. Gay or straight. And you are saying you don't want equality for gays to be shown. What sounds worse? I wasn't posting with you so you can back off right now. I refuse to argue with you. |

You have SAID ENOUGH! People in this thread have already found this offensive! And it's been reported. But I am speaking out about equality. And I wont stop. I have too many friends who are gay and feel unwanted by people like YOU and that other poster who STARTED this thread, against them. I am SICK of the HATE and discrimination. This isn't the 1950's. The mods allowed this thread to be open to hate, well, us other people who believe in equality will speak our minds. |

This is when you get to really see what someone is made of! XOXO to both of you! |

What's the problem with a gay story line unless it's about your personal inability to accept others for who they are and allow them the freedom to love whom they choose. THANKFULLY in many ways our world is finally starting to be more accepting of others it's time that soaps move into the next century and be more representative of the world and viewers. I say bring on a gay story just make it a good one. |
