I would love to see Sharon as a business woman who didn't need a man to validate her. She is to me, the heart of Y&R and I want her to shine on her own accomplishments. Maybe she's an artist, designer or something and we could discover that. She needs a more take charge presence on the show. She's no ones back up or second fiddle.

OMGosh we think alike, in my fanfic heaven I have Sharon designing for Forrestor Creations with a guest spot on the B&B sometimes being mentored by Stephanie and Brooke and eventually opening up a FC office in GC with her as the head. I see Sharon as a Fashion Designer for some reason

I ain't seeing why people are saying Sharon needs a man to validate herself. Why is it that people think when a woman is with a man she is needy Like all other characters in this soap they all have partner be a man or woman so why is it that Sharon is always called out for it. I see nothing wrong with any woman reel or real to be on the arm of a man. It the natural thing to do. Sharon is just being called because of this why, she too pretty, men fall for her looks or what is it Posters envy I will never understand you people.

I agree. I have a hubby and am very, very far from needy. If I lost my hubby tomorrow I know I can take care of my self. And Sharon will be the same way. She just needs to see how ridiculous her friendship with Victor is. And how he always has ulterior motives to everything he does. And she will just be another casualty along with everyone else.

The question of why doesnt Sharon have any friends just blew me away. If I were Sharon I would not want any of the hypocritical citizens of GC as friends. Who wants friends that smile to your face and talk about you behind your back? Who wants friends that use your kids against you to get you to do what they want? Who wants friends that stalk you and cant keep their nose out of your business even after they have taken you husband away? Who wants rich friends that are only your friend if you are doing something for them? She has one true friend who stuck by her even when she was supposed to be dead. And he still sticks up for her and tries to protect her even when they are not together.

I hope so. NB said a month but then changed it to mid July which I dont see how it will ever last that long.
