I have read so many times how strong and independent Phyllis is and thats why so many respect and love her but we are seeing her crumble and Christine is actually showing those traits but is still being trashed..... The OP is right about one thing.... Phyllis isnt going anywhere. MS has not been let go. Phyllis will not be burned at the stake but she is not going to come out of this on top. Her lies, crimes and evil ways are going to be out there and she is going to have to deal with that. It blows my mind that all the traits found in Christine, high profile job, a trained FBI agent, independent, living on her own by choice, not leaning on any man, a strong woman, is all the same traits that certain people say they admire Phyllis for, (when in actual fact, not one of them applies to Phyllis) yet those same people hate those traits in Christine. I have a hard time wrapping my mind around that. Mind boggling isn't it. That's how society judge people. If you have kids and a husband it makes you someone, no matter how you got it. If you're independent, with a good job and choose to be alone, you're a looser. Christine is beautiful inside and out, nothing fake, it's what you get. Phyllis not so much, but yet she's praised. NOthing about the woman is pretty, and i'm not talking about her looks, i'm talking about her charcter, evil, nasty and viel with a heart of stone and ice in her vains. If I wanted to watch this crap in big screen, I'll watch Uma Turmen playing poisen Ivy. MS is a good actress, and so are many others, but this isn't emmy worthy. If that's the case we should nominate every single actress or actor who plays a villin role. I have seen others IMO that is more interesting than the Phyllis charcacter. |

You know, I don't agree with the bolded statement, but I could accept that as someone's honest opinion if they held that view in every circumstance. What I find laughable is when someone looks down on Christine for not needing a man then turns around and looks down on Sharon for supposedly needing a man. Have your opinion, however ridiculous it may seems to me, but please don't change your opinion to whatever it needs to be, just to support your pet character. |

If Phyllis wanted Cricket dead back then , she would be. If Cricket thinks this will ruin Phyllis she is wrong..glad this is coming out in the open , MS will rock this storyline. Apparently not because Phyllis is a bungler. She bungled the attempt at killing Christine just like she more recently bungled her attempt to get her hands on Lucy. Her silly plan to get Daisy back but then leave her rot in jail backfired on her. I do agree that this is a great opportunity for MS to show her acting chops. I hope she does a good job of it, so far she seems to be. I think she just meant to scare Cricket. If she had wanted her dead she would have backed up and ran over her good. Or she would have found another way to kill her. And IA , MS is doing a great job with this storyline , as she always does. I watched the attempted murder and that is what it was. She aimed the car at Christine she stepped on the gas. She never tried to brake or tried swerve the car. Phyllis drove straight for Christine and never gave it a second thought. She doesn't even regret what she did to this day and still hates Christine and blames Christine for her trying to kill her. Phyllis is an ATTEMPTED MURDER plain and simple. |

I was just saying that she has a nerve has she does not have any children but can get on her high horse and judge others. No! I don't like the insect never have even before Phyllis' arrival. Hi Yale, do you mean like Phyllis being on her high horse judging others writing expose's about them while all the time checking the lock on her own closet to make sure her murderous skeletons and lies were well contained in there. Hey Red, no that is not what I meant. But you are right. It's just shocks me that Cricket after all this time stills no family. She recently had a chance to reunite with her precious Danny and didn't. I am sure that Daniel does not hate or dislike Cricket but the times he has encountered her he has had nothing to say to her, not even a hello. Have you noticed that? I recall a long while back her telling Nick she loved Daniel like a son. |

Most are hypocrites. when i read certain statements that praise phyl to no end it feels like reel life really seems to be reflecting real life and it makes me wish that some people would have the experience of living somewhere where there were no police, lawyers, etc. who would be there for them in their own time of need. if good people are worthless, then why live in a civilized society? why benefit from one--why not go out and live in a commune that is free of truly enforceable governance and is filled with phyllises and all the riffraff that people keep saying they admire so much!

IMO, Cricket is already on top. so well put. and chris's "career" isn't just a career. it's a calling. a devotion to serving society and working for the betterment of others. the gratification from that is something phyllis could never comprehend, could never experience. |
