The insect on the other hand will leave Genoa City with nothing, no husband, boyfriend or children to speak of. Phyllis will have her husband, her children, and her sister-- her family. Are you saying that Phyllis is so dumb that she didn't realize that driving a car directly into someone, at a good speed, was likely to injure or kill them? Because the flashback from the past clearly showed there was room to swerve and Phyllis just drove straight at her, so the idea that she just wanted to go near her to scare her is not going to wash. She probably didn't back up because she thought Chris was dead or so seriously injured that she would not recover and, by hanging around longer, it was more likely that she would be caught. Well , if someone drove a car into me , I'm pretty sure I would be scared..  I'm saying that if Phyllis wanted Cricket dead , and she didn't kill her with the car , then she would have found a way to kill her later on. Obviously she knew she didn't kill Cricket , but she didn't try again. And if she had really wanted Cricket dead , then Cricket would be dead. Phyllis didn't try again because she was probally afraid she would get caught the next time. If you want to get away with murder you get 1 shot at it. Some Women excape serial killers and you don't see that serial killer going back to finish the job do ya? |

If Paul wanted her then why is he with Nina? Looks like she's lost the war in the man department. Futhermore, Phyllis is no more a snake than Cricket or Sharon for that matter. Cricket was kissing a married man that night and Sharon had 3 potential fathers for faith but they are excused--right? No matter what they do, they are excused. FREE PHYLLIS! Anyone who knows that a woman's sense of self-worth doesn't derive from just having a ring on her finger(and having that ring by any means necessary, as Phyl has) gets it, and anyone who has watched YR for a long time knows why Chris is not with Danny or Paul, so no explanation is necessary. It is ironic that Chris, the girl next-door and girl with brains and a heart and someone interested in a purposeful life, is the one unmarried while the married one is the one who had to lie, cheat, and steal and try to kill in order to get everything she has. In order to get a man to even look at her twice she had to stoop low. Phyl has nothing of value to offer. It's pretty sad. |

LOL. But I agree!! I'm loving MS pugs!!! She's really phenomenal in this s/l!! I find myself anxious for the next epi with her!!! LOVE MS!! She is out-doing herself on this storyline. I haven't been this interested in the show in ages. MS is a shining Star , love her! Oh she sure is!! I love watching this talent!! MS is really almost too good for soaps imo! She is so riveting!! I'm loving her so much! I've always thought she was too good for soaps , she really belongs on the big screen! She keeps me on the edge of my seat and I love the way this s/l is showing how phenomenal of an actress she really is! She is just as good or better than the top big-screen actresses , IMO No offense to MS she is a great soap actress, emmy worthy. But she is not oscar worthy. If she can make it in movies she would. This goes for all daytime actors and actresses. And no Eric braden's cameo in titanic doesn't count lo. |

No one knew at the time it was Phyllis driving the car , so she could have easily gotten away with it had she tried again. The reason you don't see serial killers going back to finish their victims off is because in most cases the victim is random and they can't track them down. Plus , the victim goes to the police and by that time the killer is on to someone else. |

Here is the difference between Christine & Phyllis, back then, Phyllis was a selfish, manipulative woman, & she wanted to take all those things from someone because she selfishly wanted them for herself. Christine can walk away from all of this without those things because her purpose in life is not to just walk into someones life & take them. Christine is very fufilled with her job. She loved Danny back then, but once she lost him, she moved on with her life pretty nicely & buried herself in work. When Phyllis came to town chasing Danny, Christine didn't make it her lifes mission to get revenge on Phyllis & take Danny back, she didn't try to kill her or stalk her. Actually, years later, she even helped her with Daniel. This is not about revenge for Christine, this is about justice. I like Phyllis, but like Christine WAY better, & she deserves to seek justice for what Phyllis selfishly did to her years ago. Phyllis will come out of all of this just fine because she always does, but Christine will walk away from all of this just fine, with her amazing job in tact, and she'll have some closure on a time in her life that was hell for her. I don't agree with practically anything in your post, I don't think Phyllis gave a thought to Christine. Do you? It's not like she knew her or anything. Do millions of fans think about the spouses of real life stars? I don't think they do not unless it's a star couple like Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. As for the hell Christine was put through, I disagree that she was more put upon than she dished out. That's what made me so sickened with the character she was constantly inserting herself trying to find a way to discredit Phyllis(and yes I think it's beside the point that she was actually hiding things) She obviously didn't move on because there were several times that she crossed a line with Danny while she was supposed to be with Paul not just the one kiss on the same day she was supposed to marry Paul. She even ended up being with Danny years later when Daniel came back to GC and actively tried to continue keeping Phyllis away from Daniel even though she had court ordered visitation rights. |
